We had an amazing time on Montauk lake staying in the Culloden Point cottage! It was so nice!! It looked very new and clean with everything you need inside! Decorated so nice too! Outside we were lucky enough to have perfect weather and enjoyed kayaking during the day and fires at the night under the stars. Kelly was super nice and was available for anything you need!! Me and my cousins booked this property for a girls weekend. We were pleasantly surprised by how close the place was to the restaurants and bars we went too. We had so much fun Saturday during the day using the paddle boards and kayaks in the backyard on the lake. The condo was clean and well kept. Everything you needed was included! We will be back next year! HIGHLY recommend.

We had a great time at this vacation spot. My two kids and I were more than happy with our stay. We were right on the lake. The sunset was amazing. We were able to kayak and paddle board. The owner was super friendly, responded to any questions that we had ASAP, and our unit was beautiful. Kelly also left us a package of chocolate chip cookies when we arrived. I highly recommend this rental to anyone looking to stay in the Montauk area.

Exactly as advertised, this string of four cottages sits rights next to Montauk Lake with amazing breezes and many places to sit and take in the scenery. Five miles from the lighthouse, this property is quiet, a little off the beaten path and great for those who want to ride bikes and sip coffee in lazy, laid back Montauk!

This property is located 5-10 minutes away from the beaches and best restaurants. It’s definitely the perfect size for 3 adults, I would not exceed 3 because it will be very tight. It was well stocked with all the necessities, they even had a cooler we could bring to the beach and beach chairs. The only issues we encountered were: 1- the space is very bright. There is a skylight in the bedroom and main room. The skylight in the bedroom has a shade, but it is not blackout like the other shades on the windows so the room is very bright all day long. The skylight in the main room has no shade at all. We were all up very early (not the worst thing since we wanted to get the most out of our time there), because of the brightness and it also made the space feel warmer than it actually was because of all the sunlight. We had the AC on and it almost seemed like we didn’t (unless you are standing in front the stove). 2- we hung out by the lake the first day we arrived and there was a lot of bird or dog poop all around, should definitely be cleaned up regularly. Other than these 2 issues, we would definitely stay again. We were able to check out at 11:45AM instead of 11AM. No one bothered us. The people staying next to us were very friendly. The property even offers a BBQ grill and table outside. All in all, we would return again.

What a great time! Perfect location for all sunset lovers. Absolutely clean and well decorated. Privacy, easygoing and non complicated check in and out. Perfect spot for peddle boarding as well. Great times all around

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Culloden Point. The unit was beautiful and bright inside as well as extremely clean and comfortable. The property was very nice and the views of the lake were beautiful. We were even lucky to catch the sunset on the second night of our stay. The keyless entry made coming and going a breeze. The drive into town was less than 5 minutes. I highly recommend staying here if you are looking for a peaceful getaway. We will definitely be back.

My husband and I fully enjoyed our off-season quiet waterfront stay at Lake Montauk. While the two rooms may be a little small for some, it was just right for us. The owner was wonderfully welcoming,, and we loved sitting by the water with a warm fire, and visiting the bluffs at Camp Hero.

This is the place to stay in montauk. Clean, great location, outstanding communication, exactly as advertised and the list goes on. I highly recommend and will absolutely be looking to return in the future.

We really enjoyed our 4 day stay, the location is great, quiet and within 5 minute driving distance to Montauk village. The apartment is modern and clean and had everything we needed. Perfect starting point for some bike rides in the area, too.

There is nothing to say negatively about this property. I am completely relaxed and extremely satisfied with my stay here. I will 10000% return. I have already given the info to many friends and family. I highly recommend this property. Like everything in Montauk these days, it was really expense to stay here. But for me personally, I needed a retreat in the worst way and spent the money. I’m hoping the pricing is better off-season. It would be a wonderful retreat for the fall months!

We enjoyed being in Montauk and also doing our own thing on the property - paddle boarding, kayaking, making s'mores at the fire pit, watching the beautiful sunset. Kelly was very attentive, friendly, and made us feel at home! Looking forward to coming back!

We just got back from an amazing 4-night stay. We could have stayed longer. Kelly and Rick were welcoming hosts. Kelly was super quick to respond to any questions and gave us great tips about the area. On one cloudy day, she recommended a hike at Camp Hero and it was a highlight! The place is clean, modern, nicely decorated, well-stocked and comfortable. We stayed in the Culloden Point unit. It worked out great for our family of family of four with our two kids sleeping on the pull-out couch. The cottages are well-situated in MTK, just a couple minutes from Ditch Plains and a short drive into town. The parking pass was a huge bonus. We had no problem parking at any of the beaches, even Ditch Plains. The lake was the absolute highlight for us. Our kids loved it! First off, the lake views are stunning. We loved coming back from a morning at the beach and heading right to the lake to kayak in the afternoon. We ate outside at the picnic table a couple nights and that was also delightful. All in all, a fantastic stay. We felt well-cared for and really relaxed. Would highly recommend. We will definitely return!

We spent two nights at Duffys on the Lake. The location was perfect and the unit was clean and well appointed. My children loved the kayaks and paddle board. We enjoyed a peaceful getaway and were grateful for Kelly and Rick’s hospitality.

Kelly and Rick were great hosts at this property. The unit was immaculate and stocked with everything you could hope for from beach towels, to a coffee maker and everything in between. About 2- 3 miles from Montauk village, the golf course and almost any other activity you’re looking for, it allows you to escape to your own piece of serenity but still be minutes from the heart of town. Couldn’t have asked for anything more.

We would highly recommend this property! A terrific place for a couple looking for a retreat from the city. Great views of the water, wonderful outdoor space and the interior is newly renovated and so cozy. My husband loved using the kitchen every day. Great experience all around! Couldn’t have asked for a better week of quiet relaxation in a town that has transformed into a bustling party scene. This is situated on lake montauk, close to everything yet far enough that you still feel like you are in old montauk. Definitely returning.

My Girlfriend and I stayed here for our recent trip to Montauk. Location was perfect, hosts were extremely attentive and responsive/accommodating, best beaches on the island are within walking distance (if motivated) or a short drive away, sunniest place to stay on the island, amazing shop are a short walk into town (2.5 miles), pictures don't do it justice and the list could go on and on. My Girlfriend and I can't say enough amazing things about this place and we are ecstatic with our pick. Kelly was a fantastic host, greeting us when we arrived and showing us all the amenities available at the property. The house was perfectly clean and comfortable. Its set in a great location on the lake where we enjoyed a nice fire and smores. This rental comes with a beach parking pass which is an awesome amenity that we used to the fullest. Its setting on the lake makes is peacefully quiet which is perfect for a nice week away. Thank you for your hospitality Kelly.

We had such a wonderful time at Duffy's Culloden Point! Perfect size for the two of us, comfortable, clean, very modern. Great spot on the lake with amazing sunset views. Located just outside of town, close but just far enough away from everything. The included parking pass was an amazing plus! Kelly was so wonderful and helpful throughout our stay. We look forward to coming back and staying again.
