We just had a great time; the house is up a hill and feels pretty hidden. But it's just tucked right behind Colorado Springs and everything we wanted to do was a short drive away. We ate most meals outside, marveled at the hummingbirds right in front of our eyes, and wrapped up in blankets to watch the fog rise off the mountain ridge. We would come back again and again! Thank you for a great house, well-stocked kitchen, clear instructions, comfortable beds, and electric recliners!

This property is in a rural setting a ways up the mountains with curvy dirt roads. It is quiet and has some of the most beautiful woods and scenery. We saw deer, wild turkeys, chipmunks daily. Sitting on the deck was our favorite part of the house, and this house has several decks and balconies overlooking the nature. Also a good hiking trail right behind the property.

Enjoyed staying at the cabin very much! Location was great, very close and convenient lots of attractions. Cabin was nice and accommodating. Definitely be prepared to go up and down a lot of stairs though!

We had a wonderful time at the house of decks. Jesse is a great host. The house has lots of room and the decks are great for relaxing, looking at the mountains and drinking coffee.

My family and I (5 of us total) had a great stay the week of Thanksgiving. The cabin was clean, with lots of space and new appliances. The view from the decks outside of the mountains was truly breathtaking. We would definitely stay here again!

We really enjoyed our recent stay for a long weekend getaway. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. The views are beautiful, beds are comfortable, and the kitchen is fully stocked. Our flight from Ny arrived in the early morning, and Jesse was very accommodating by allowing us to check in early. Thank you for a great mini vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay. It was in the perfect location, just a few minutes from all of the major attractions which are found in Colorado Springs. The views from all decks were spectacular and watching sunrise in the comfortable hot tub was amazing. One small issue during our stay, a hand rail was loose. The owner had his contractor come out immediately to fix it. Great experience renting from Jesse. He is a class act!

Beautiful, spacious cabin in a fantastic area of the Colorado Springs/Manitou. Had all the amenities you could ask for, and the views and hiking trails were so picturesque! If you are looking for a nice get away but close to everything, this is for you!

We loved our time in Colorado, as always! This house was great for our family, spacious and comfy. The only downfall we had was there wasn’t enough seating in the living room for us, but we made it work! The location was great for a lot of the things we had planned. The hot tub was a perfect way to end the night and relax after being out all day with the kids. We will definitely be recommending this place to our friends!

If you want a true cabin home experience with all the comforts of home, this is it! What a beautiful, well maintained, and well provisioned home. Thank you Jesse for sharing your home and the amazing little town of Green Mountain Falls! We loved that the home had beach towels for the Jacuzzi! Location was ideal to do ALL the Colorado things!!!

Visited the area with our family and everyone loved this place! Tucked away in the mountains with great views, incredible house and easy access! I would recommend this place to anyone and will definitely be visiting again soon unless I can find a way to permanently locate here! The House of Decks is great place to stay!!

Easy to get to, located near several trails, tons of space in the house, the hot tub was great for relaxing. The house cooled down nicely at night and the decks were very enjoyable.

Chicago meets Colorado
We had a wonderful visit and were greeted by a winter snow storm upon arrival. Thanks to Jesse for warning us about the snow storm, but living in the Midwest, we are used to unexpected snowfall. Despite the snow, my friends and I had a wonderful time. The house was warm and cozy upon arrival and felt at home, instantly. We hiked everyday and came home to the hot tub, which was a nice retreat.
Many memories made in your beautiful home with amazing, snowy views.
Definitely recommend for those wanting to visit CO Springs in need of a cozy home.

STOP! DO. NOT. Look any further
This is the best VRBO I have ever stayed at. We took and Mother’s Day weekend to Colorado Springs but wanted to stay “up in the mountains”. Don’t let the location stop you from staying here. It’s convenient to everything. The home is immediately welcoming and has everything you will need and want. The rooms are large with comfortable beds and bedding. I love that they provide basic pantry items, spices and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) bc it makes packing much easier. The owner immediately responded when I texted to ask basic questions about the area and was kind and helpful. We will absolutely stay here again and would highly recommend to friends and family if they ever came to the Colorado Springs area.

Felt like home!!
We absolutely loved our stay here!! The location is perfect!!! No too far from town yet secluded and quiet. We loved all the trails that were right by the house! The house has everything you could possibly need and is very cozy and relaxing! We loved sitting in the hot tub every night after a long day of exploring! We would definitely stay again!

Wonderful spring get away
The house of decks was perfect.
It had every thing we needed nd more. The decks were nice to enjoy watching the wildlife and enjoying the fresh mountain air.
The beds were very comfortable and plenty of areas for privacy if you want it.

Highly recommend, especially if there are several people staying
We highly recommend this property. It was sparkling clean, had spectacular views, a fully equipped kitchen, and touches such as shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in pumps on the shower wall, that gave it a higher end feel. We were in the area with extended family for a wedding, and the property's layout with a bedroom/bathroom on a lower level, and two bedrooms with a shared bathroom upstairs gave us the flexibility we needed. Folks could retreat to private areas if they wanted or hang out in the common areas on the main floor. It was very cold while we were there, but the warm Colorado sun allowed us to enjoy the decks nonetheless. We would definitely stay here again if we ever return to the area.

Slice of Mountain Heaven
The location was perfect and breathtakingly beautiful. The home had everything you needed to have a great stay. Trails, resturants, wildlife...all within walking distance. We had never been to Colorado before and staying there in addition to all of the natural beauty made us not want to leave.

Great Family Vacation
Nice cabin with beautiful views and hiking close by. Enjoyed the Town of Green Mountain Falls and Manitau. Enjoyed the hot tub and all the nice amenities.

What an amazing location!
We showed up and were awed. It’s a bit rough to get up to, and I wouldn’t want to try it in a small car, but the actual cabin was fantastic. Had a slight creak here and there but overall, it’s probably the best vacation we’ve ever had. We definitely want to go back!

Perfect vacation spot!
This was a great rental! There is plenty of space, a ton of games and fun things for kids to do, and the location is close to everything. It was fantastic and we will definitely book again.

Unplug and unwind in the mountains!
We had an amazing time at the House of Decks! The house was spacious, clean, cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing time in the mountains. The host has thought of it all - including recommendations for keeping your family entertained with nearby attractions but also making space feel like a home away from home. One of the best stays we’ve had in a long time. Amenities were great as well…… FANTASTIC water pressure

Beautiful views from cabin decks. Steep driveway, but of course you’re in the mountains. Perfect little getaway for our family.

We loved staying at the House of Decks! The views are amazing and the inside of the house is set up perfect. We loved that we were far enough away or the quiet of the mountains but only mins away from all the attractions. The small town that was next to the house was so nice. We will for sure be back. Cant say enough about our stay here!

Nice Property outside of Colorado Springs
My husband and I took our five kids (ages ranging from four - 16) on vacation to the Colorado Springs area. I am glad we chose Green Mountain Falls because it is less populated than Co Springs and a bit more "away from it all". The property owner was extremely responsive to any questions or concerns we had. The property was well appointed and clean. I would not recommend this property for really young children, elderly, or anyone with mobility issues because of the amount of steep stairs at the property. If you visit with children I highly recommend Santa's Workshop at the North Pole and for anyone looking for a physical challenge to climb the Manitou Incline. Overall we were happy with our stay and would stay here again.

Awesome Place - NO AC
This beautiful home is nestled in a cute mountain community. We woke up every morning and had coffee with a beautiful view.
We didn't realize that the house didn't have AC. Luckily enough, we weren't the hottest parts of the day, and it was cool enough in th morning and at night with the windows open. Would be nice if the owners added just a few more fans. :)

Very beautiful scenery
We stayed here with family to celebrate a couple of birthdays. The property was very clean, decorated nicely. Easy to find and very easy to work with. Would rent again !
