The home was as described. It was clean and had all the amenities necessary for a weeklong family vacation at the beach. Access to the private beaches with included passes was a plus. Would stay again if visiting the area.

Stayed at this amazing cottage for a family friend's wedding in Watch Hill and we wanted a little more space and flexibility to have a kitchen etc. We did fly in from out of state and Catherine did provide linens and towels to accommodate so we did not have to fly with these items, or take a detour to purchase on our way in. Beautiful cottage, has everything you need for a beach getaway and plenty of space.

The property was immaculate and exactly as the listing described. This home is cozy with a well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. It's located in a quiet neighborhood, within walking distance to the beach and a short drive to 95. It suited our needs perfectly and our host, Catherine, was a pleasure to work with and made sure we had everything we needed prior to our arrival. Five stars all the way around and if we are ever in the area again, we will look for availability here first!

3 adults rented this lovely cottage for our annual beach trip. This house is perfect for a week Long Beach get away. Plenty of room, all kitchen supplies are on hand. The updates to the house were beautiful and it was so homey. We even had a rain day and were able to just cook and enjoy the house. The wrap around dec was used a lot and we felt we had individual spaces for returning from a day at the beach and just relaxing. The outdoor shower was used and enjoyed. We were there during a heatwave and stayed cool with the AC unit. The car beach pass came in handy for those extreme hot days. I would highly recommend this cottage and will definitely be rebooking in the future. Catherine was very responsive and incredibly kind.

Catherine's home was clean and easy to find. However, months after my booking and days after the refund deadline, I received an email with what I expected to contain welcome instructions, and in reality was a list of all the things she WOULDN'T be providing during my stay at her beach house. For instance: I was told I would have to bring my own towels, my own linens, my own garbage bags, and that she would not be providing any beach supplies at all (chairs, umbrella, beach bag, sunscreen, literally anything at all that you might expect for a beach house in westerly RI). So it was too late for me to cancel or rebook by the time I found all this disheartening information out from Catherine. Also the "queen" bed in the master bedroom is a full and the frame is loosely held together in almost a comically negligent way. So that the entire night I was worried it would fall apart if I moved to readjust at all. The lack of hospitality which you come to expect from a VRBO caliber property owner, was a bummer. The was a deliberately deceitful addendum to the listing which was only sent directly via email after the refund deadline date was infuriating. Was it a coincidence? Doubtful. I don't like being taken advantage of, and if you are a person who appreciates integrity, look elsewhere - unless you like having to bring your own napkins on vacation.

This cottage only has two bedroom but the ability to fit a lot of guest! With a full size bed, two bunk beds and two new pull out couches! Host was very easy to get into contact with and very nice! It’s close enough to walk to private beaches (about 10 minutes) in which walking and a driving pass are provided for! Only downfalls would be the pull out couches aren’t the most comfortable and the full size bed frame in the bedroom is very creaky! Other than that it was the perfect stay! Would recommend!

Catherine is lovely as well as her home. Clean, fresh, bright and all the accomodations of home! Easy walk to the beach, nice little view of the salt pond from the deck and love that outdoor shower! 2 sets of bunk beds was a bonus for our kids and the level floor plan great for my senior parents Look forward to staying again! We had a wonderful experience with the owner. She was very quick with her responses and seemed to truly want us to be comfortable with our stay…and we definitely were happy and comfortable! The house was very clean and had everything we needed for a family of 3. There were plenty of options to choose from for sleeping arrangements- my daughter loved the bunk beds and the new pull out couches the best! The backyard was quiet and beautiful and the outdoor shower was very private. Every year we vacation in Westerly RI and so far this was our favorite spot to stay in! We will definitely be keeping this location saved for future visits!

Had a fabulous weekend with a group of my girlfriends. All the ladies fell in love with this beautiful cottage. We enjoyed sitting on the deck and the awesome swing. We had everything we needed for a perfect relaxing weekend. Thank you Catherine for sharing your beautiful house with us.

When we walked into the beautiful cottage, we LOVED the open concept. It was perfect for our moms (no spouses or kids) retreat. We walked to the beach and spent time outside in the beautiful backyard. The outdoor shower is AMAZING and a must do if you stay here. The owner was easy to communicate with and very hospitable. She suggested The Cooked Goose for breakfast and it was excellent. Sleeping arrangements were comfortable and there was plenty of room for the 5 of us . We will definitely book here again.

Great time

We rented property out of season for family get together in the area. The main reason for selecting was that it allowed dogs. It is far from the beach with the view of harvested field on main road. It doesn’t have washer, dryer or dishwasher. After we signed non refundable contract we learnt we needed to bring our sheets, towels, buy required trash bags, toilet paper and paper towels. Month before arrival when second payment was needed we got message that dogs were not allowed. Took three emails to the owner to get written confirmation that our contract will be honored and we can bring a dog. At that time owner sent us also rules for the cottage requesting that we wipe all surfaces and vacuum on arrival and departure. During cleaning I noticed that non slip mat in the shower tub was very black. I lifted it and found out that under mat there were stickers glued to the tub which were all moldy and black. I wrote to the owner with complaint. She called me immediately and yelled at me that I dare to complain and that she was very patient answering my questions and that I was welcomed to move out but will not get refund. I called and complained to vrbo but that did not changed anything. I provided pictures showing the problem. For the above I would not recommend this property.

Wonderful,clean and cozy beach cottage…..small but appointed perfectly….no needs or wants for our stay

We took a family trip with the grandparents and 2 teens so making everyone happy was a challenge. We did enjoy ourselves and the property. Just a few echoed tips: There should be more then 1 TV, town requires the bags so that should not be passed to the renter, maybe including in the rental cost, master bedroom bed is a bit noisy, perhaps a new iron and we couldn't figure out the ironing board so we reworked some outfits. Otherwise, the property location is ideal, and so cute! The open concept with upgraded kitchen was perfect. Would definitely stay here again.

I loved this house small but still have space. Loved the deck and how quite it was. If no cars are going by you can hear the waves. Sit on the front deck late at night look up so many stars. Didn't have to look for extra anything they had it. Thank you for letting me stay I can't wait for next year. The beach was great bathrooms where the cleanest I ever saw at a beach friendly staff. Would recommend this house.

Nice place close to beach

Our young family of four loved staying here. Close to the beach for daily fun in the sun. The house is quite cozy with ample room to relax. We particularly enjoyed the back patio for lunches and dinners with the kids. At night, my husband and I enjoyed a glass of wine on the front porch.

Perfect getaway in clean comfortable home. A bit of a walk to beach but easy bike ride.

Catherine was a perfect host, her home is beautiful and comes with all the essentials that you would need for a get way in Westerly. Very clean upon getting there and a welcoming stay. The location is perfect, close to the beach and plenty of dining around! Couldn’t have asked for a better stay! Always a quick response and I highly recommend her for your next vacation stay!

We had a great couple of days staying here. The only drawback was the construction 2 houses over that started at 7 am with workers shouting and cursing at each other.. ha ha. But we were happy to be close to the beach and loved the property!

Best part, the back kitchen window had a view of the water off in the distance. Nice way to sip the morning coffee and look out . The weather became warmer over the weekend and we enjoyed the porch swing, grill, outside table and chairs. The neighborhood was quite and folks were very friendly especially while walking a dog. Since this during Easter early April, the beach was nice to walk the dog on as well. We can't say enough great things about this property, other than go see for your self how beautiful it really is. The host was incredible and kind during all communication! Wonderful person to communicate with, easy check in and check out. The accommodations are clean, cozy and very beachy and relaxing.The location is a quick walk/drive to the beach, we watched the sunset which was gorgeous, and the sunrise from the back porch was beautiful as well. Great kitchen, wonderful distance to many fun places. Will definitely come again! Thank you
