We love Starfish Cottage as it's plenty big for the four of us, SO close to the beach, dog friendly, and easy to walk to lots of restaurants -- owner was super attentive about a question I had, getting back to us in about 10 minutes. Only regret is that we forgot to write something nice in the little 'diary' near the TV saying how much we enjoyed things so that others can see!

The size of the rental was perfect. It was just me and my two dogs. I really enjoyed having it tucked away from the main road.

Really clean, well maintained property a stones throw from the beach. Restaurants and shops were within walking distance, like end of the block to a few blocks away. And almost every place was dog friendly. Cannot wait to go back.

We had a lovely stay. it was clean (except for the older table cloth that was a bit sticky). The kitchen was fairly well equipped - it worked well for two people. Might be a bit limiting for a larger family. The only limitation was rather limited comfortable seating. There was one sofa, but the chairs were straight-backed wicker... but we made it work. And I would suggest bringing your own pillows, along with your sheets. I will say the host was very responsive and check in was very easy

We all had a great time! There were comfortable beds and furniture, a well-stocked kitchen, and a short walk to the beach. We hope to return in the future. Thank you!

This cottage is very appealing, with an upstairs deck and plenty of parking below, along with the laundry/beach equipment room--which also contains a downstairs bathroom. There are lots of windows and sliders in the main living space, and the two bedrooms are comfortable. The owners were very responsive to our questions. We loved our stay here!

Great location for the beach and downtown Dewey. Cute and cozy with ample parking. Easy check-in and check-out.

Wonderful beach property!

We've been lucky to get this spot three years in a row now, and it's wonderful for our needs -- dog friendly with steps to the beach, and super quiet as it's off the main side streets -- ample parking, and great to have washer/dryer and lots of beach stuff readily available on first level

Really enjoyed our stay and loved how close we were to the beach. Perfect walking distance to restaurants & bars. Pet friendly place, comfortable & enough space for the two of us & our dog. Hope to stay here again.

We had a very nice time for the few days we were there. Although we brought food to cook we didn't do much cooking. There were plenty of pots and pans and utensils to use but we just didn't feel like cooking. The house is located in the middle of everything - beach and restaurants and grocery stores are close by. My only complaint when cooking was the clean up. The dish rack for drying dishes was too small. The dishes had to be dried ASAP, so you could make room for all of them to be washed. The house was clean. There was plenty of storage for food and clothes. The weather was mostly cool so we didn't us any beach gear. At this time of year the beach was not crowded. We actually drove 1/2 a mile or so down route one to fish on the beach. The sea life was prolific. A couple seal pups, dolphins, and a mantis shrimp were seen on the beach or out in the ocean.

My wife, mother-in-law and our two dogs stayed here for four days. Our immediate impression upon entering the house was adorable. It was perfect for us, not too big and not too small, just right. The place was perfectly situated very close to the beach, I mean within 2 minutes walking distance. You can literally hear the waves crash from the outside deck. Valerie the owner was so nice to converse with both on email and phone. I would definitely stay here again. My only tiny complaint is the master bed mattress is a tad too firm for my liking. Other than that, it was the perfect beach getaway.

The location was perfect, and met our needs as a fall family get away for our family of 4 (plus our pup) reuniting for the weekend from 3 different states. The beach is beautiful! The laundry room and extra toilet and sink were an unexpected bonus. The home was comfortable and well appointed. We intend to be back.

Dog-friendly rental in a dog-friendly beach town. This was a perfect spot for my husband, our dog, and me. Morning walks on the beach were beautiful. So many walkable restaurants. This was an ideal fall getaway!
