Beautiful home. Everything you need except food! Appliances are top of the line. Pool is wonderful (depth about 4 1/2 end to end). Beach towels & chairs, noodles, float loungers and rods for fishing. Owners are great. Respond to questions promptly. Would highly recommen Villa Maria for a wonderful vacation.

This property was perfectly situated for our stay. Quiet neighborhood about 20 minutes from Englewood and Boca Grande beaches. About 40 minutes from Venice. The house was beautiful and complete with everything you would need. Pool area very relaxing. Perfect vacation! Thank you for sharing your home!

We completely enjoyed our stay at Villa Maria! The house was ample size, as we had 3 of us working remotely during our visit and needed our separate spaces. The pool was our favorite part--well-maintained and gorgeous--and a large lanai area as well. The wildlife viewing backing up to the canal was very nice too, as we had daily visitors from many species of birds. The house also came with bicycles which we used frequently. It was also close to many walking paths. And if you want peace and quiet, this neighborhood definitely has it. The house was also close enough to drive to many restaurants and a variety of beaches. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This was truly the most relaxing vacation! The house was amazing and we enjoyed staying there! The kitchen and pool area were our favorite!! Had a small issue with a damage report but the owners were wonderful in resolving it to our satisfaction! I have told several about the home.

This was our second visit to Villa Maria with our family and we think it's an amazing home. Super clean, all amenities are fabulous, plenty of space for entire family ( our group is 6 adults 2 toddlers and 2 babies) the pool area is the best and the design of the pool is one of a kind!! Big rooms,kitchen is fully equipped and then some.... We plan to visit again in the near future. Everyone was so pleasant and we only had a small glitch with the heat to the pool but it was addressed quickly and efficiently and all was well within 24hrs. We enjoyed our stay 5 stars!! Close to everything you could possibly need! We love the beaches at Englewood and Gasparilla Island....Stump Pass. Thanks so much Rocsy and Dan for sharing your home!!

Disappointed that there was a separate charge to heat the pool per day,which was not mentioned when I was booking the property. When I called to have the pool heated, the price quoted to me was not what I was billed. I was charged more! For what... They did not say for what!! Paid for 6 days Only ended up using pool 2 days! The house itself was beautiful and clean. I would rent again....without the heated pool!!!

Having stayed in the area for some 20 years first impressions of the villa were good. It was easy to get to, plenty of space and the layout worked well for us. Our first time out by the pool however we were surprised to find a number of tiles around the edge of the pool were loose. We contacted the management company who were quick to respond and visited later the same day. It was during the visit they actually pointed out that more of the tiles were broken and confirmed they were already aware of the problem, but had failed to mention anything to us. We were advised to "be careful" during our stay. When the tiles were wet and whole corner sections could move under your feet, you really did need to be careful as it was an accident waiting to happen. They did advise it would be fixed in September so hopefully nobody else will be subject to the hazardous conditions. A nice villa but didn't quite check all the boxes for us.

We bought plane tickets just a few days before our travel dates, then scrambled to find a place to stay for 8 days. Thankfully it was offseason and we were able to secure this rental through HomeAway. Originally we had hoped to find a place closer to the beach or to shops, but with only a couple of days to make reservations, we decided to take a chance on Rotonda West. We were absolutely thrilled with the home. Spacious, immaculately clean, and comfortably furnished, the house had everything we needed and then some: nice pool and outdoor living space (with huge outdoor dining table and chairs), three large bedrooms with some of the most comfortable beds we’ve ever had in a rental, fantastic master suite, 3 bathrooms total, music system wired throughout the house, espresso machine, fully equipped kitchen, bicycles, beach chairs, and more. We visited Englewood and Manasota beaches several times, as well as a beach in Venice, malls, movie theater, etc. Convenient to grocery stores and every other kind of shop and restaurant. One super hot day, we stayed home during midday sun and played the Monopoly game provided, a British version of the game. Been a long time since we played Monopoly with the kids (they’re teens now), and we had so much fun!! On the last day, the garbage disposal had a little glitch and the property manager took care of it right away. A/C worked great. I could go on and on — fabulous accommodations for our Florida stay. My family and I had an amazing week at this property. It was very well kept, clean and had everything that we needed to live there for a week. The house was beautiful, the pool area and the dock were stunning!! Any questions we had were answered immediately. We had an amazing time and we will definitely rent this property again in the future, that is if we don’t end up moving to the area, we fell in love!!

As a family that once lived in Southwest Florida, we like to rent homes in this area for vacations. As a vacation home, this one has it all. Situated on a canal in Rotonda West, this home is in a quiet neighborhood, and features a wide deck, designed pool, tile floors, spacious bedrooms, comfortable living room with a split plan, and great interior design.

Wow!! This is an absolutely beautiful villa, so clean and with everything we could have needed during our stay .....and more. We settled in right away and spent 5 fabulous weeks here, it's so peaceful and relaxing and the pool is awesome. This was our second stay in Villa Maria and hopefully we'll be back again soon. The house is spotless, nicely decorated and very well cared for with two huge comfortable master bedrooms. We spent a lot of time on the lanai and had fun in the amazing pool. The large dock in the backyard was a favorite place to watch plenty of Florida wild life( from the beautiful birds and turtles to an alligator that visited us from time to time). We wish we stayed longer but we plan to return in the near future. Thank you for sharing your house!

We had a wonderful stay. It is by far the best place we have been over the past 10 years. manicured garden also, the riverfront pool is a dream come true .... we called the property managers Homesearch Realty and Investment for an internet problem and they solved it right away ... definitely want to come back next year.

As soon as we arrived at Villa Maria we knew that we were going to enjoy every minute here. It has everything you could want, and more, in a beautiful peaceful location. The villa is stocked with everything you could need, and too many extras to mention. We loved the layout, and found it so hard to choose which beautiful bedroom to sleep in. As there are only 2 of us we had lots of space which we love, and both feel that it is as near to perfection as a villa gets. The base was perfect for us as we could get to Sarasota to the north, Fort Myers to the south and never ran out of places to visit in the 3 weeks we were here. We loved the fact that the villa has Netflix as we spent most evenings in, and watched lots of films. We will both be very sad to leave this morning.

This was really a great vacation … This was the first time we came to Florida (we are from Holland) and had our doubts about renting out a house from a website without seeing it. But your home is even better than in pictures. At first we had a great time exploring the home (so large), then we had a big dip in the pool … this was a real vacation. We found everything we needed, lots of linens, pots and pans, a great kitchen, the great room with the large TV was a plus .. and we appreciated having such a good internet connexion and telephone. We love to bike and made good use of the bicycles provided. We loved the pool area ….. really nothing negative about this home and we had a great time ….. I WANT TO COME BACK … There is so much to do and see … beaches, great eating places, shopping ….. we appreciated the comprehensive booklet with all thet information that is at your disposal. The only “scare” we had is that we lost our keys and could not get back in the house, but called the property manager and they solved the problem in less than an hour. A wonderful time in June 2017! Thank you for making your beautiful villa available to us. This was just what we needed after the usual horrible UK Winter weather. The first thing we saw upon opening the door was the lanai area with the pool and the canal beyond. Then the kitchen.. so well equipped and bright. My wife and I are cooking fans and we were thrilled. Travelling with two teenagers, we particularly appreciated having 3 bathrooms and a pool bath …. Unfamiliar with the TV system here, we called your managers Homesearch Realty and they came to solve our problem within 2 hours. The home is so spacious and bright and thank you for choosing light colored furniture which is the best for Florida. The pool area became one of our favourites, we enjoyed many BBQ’s at sundown most days. As avid golfers, I think we tried all 5 golf courses in the community, restaurants in the area and of course the beautiful beaches. We discovered Stump Pass National Park beach (we saw a dolphin and a lot of birds). Also went to Boca Grande, Sarasota a short drive away and Venice, one of my favourite spots ! I hope we can come back soon ….. Thank you again. David and Marge

I spent two weeks at the Villa Maria in April/May 2017 and I have to say that overall I was dissapointed with the standard of the villa and the Homeserch property company. I have rented three different propertys in Rotonda West in the last three years and Villa Maria was by far the worst. I felt that the kitchen was in need of upgrading. Although the equipment provided was of a generally good standard there were items that could have been better. The sink for example was not in a good condition. Outside the lanai furniture was not of a good standard. There was a broken sun lounger for example. Although the property has a southern aspect but due to trees on the adjoining land there was no sun on the pool area after about 4pm. Also in the walk in shower in the master bathroom there was a rusty pole in the corner. Not what I would have expected. I feel that the property is in need of a serious upgrade to justify the price of the rental being asked. I was also not impressed the management company. I had asked and payed for the pool to be heated but when I arrived the there was no heated pool. I was told that it was due to a problem with a switch. In my opinion this should have been rectified before I arrived. They also forgot to refund my damage deposit. I had to contact them and ask why the damage deposit was not refunded and was told they had forgotten to do it. Not impressed . There were many good things about the property but I really feel that for the amount of the rental charged certain things could have been better. And because of that I would not recommend this property until improvements have been made.

The only thing the kitchen was missing was the chef😉! Beautiful home.. Plenty of room, the lanai was lovely... This home was perfect for entertaining.
