Our stay was wonderful. The property owners were fantastic. Great views and a great time.

This is a beautiful property and was perfect for a weekend getaway. My young daughters had a great time exploring the area. My only complaint was that there were a ton of wasps around the property and they kept getting inside the house. It’s out in the country, so don’t know that there’s much that can be done about that. Otherwise we had a fantastic stay.

Lovely!
It was delightful! From the decor to the view, everything was just wonderful. We all were able to relax and just enjoy being a family playing games and making s’mores after a day on the river. Loved it!

Fantastic Find!
We planned a last minute spring break trip to San Antonio, and found this gem just a short drive away from downtown San Antonio with the Alamo and Riverwalk, Seaworld, Natural Bridge Caverns, Fredericksburg and Lukenbach. Great scenery, room for the kids to run, friendly horses, fantastic fire pit, and comfy beds. Absolutely thrilled with the experience and can’t beat the price! May try to plan a couples vacation so we can explore more of the nearby wineries and distilleries with friends!

Wonderful stay at Bergheim Ranch!
We booked three nights over spring break for a little getaway for us and our three youngish kids. We had such a great time and the pond house was super fun and comfortable! Highlights were visiting with the horses, the fire pit, and just relaxing on all of the swings around the ranch!

Great mini break. Pool was gorgeous. Beds super comfortable
Fabulous place to stay for 2 nights away. Kids fed the horses, swam in shared pool (had it to ourselves by liaising with other guests). fire pit was great for s’mores. Bath Towels were thick and soft (we will be asking where from so we can buy some too!).

Heaven in the Hill Country
This was a GEM of a property. Clean, unique, spacious, and open. While other guests were on the property, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. Our kids loved the bungalow style, the beds were comfortable, and the view was incredible. We swam in the inground pool, watched the horses graze from our balcony, made smores at the fire pit, and had the most increble stargazing opportunities never afforded to us in the city. We will definitely be going back! It was great for our family of four but we could also see ourselves booking with other families and friends.

Relaxing Girls Weekend!
This is our second time staying on the property and it didn't disappoint! It's beautifully maintained and you get a very secluded feel but you are also in such close proximity to Boerne/Fredericksberg or San Antonio or Gruene. It's the best of both worlds. I have stayed in the main house and bungalow and they are both great!

Great space in and around the bungalow
Property owners were friendly and helpful. The space was great and the wall-sized window overlooking the beautiful pasture was a joy. Eager to stay again.

Wide open space & lovely bungalows
We had a lovely time here! It was the perfect place to just check out from reality and enjoy some peace and quiet. Wish the kitchen situation in the bungalow was a bit better, but we made it work. Also I think a playscape would really make it perfect for families with younger children! Overall though a wonderful stay and we plan to go back!

Very well kept and great for our team retreat.
It was just the right amount of space for our small team. The pool was great and we were able to prepare our meal together. It would be great to come back when it’s cooler to enjoy the fire pit.

Barabara and her family are amazing to work with! The homes we stayed in were spotless and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful and so very peaceful. The skies at night were perfect, the trees magnificent, and our family loved the pool and firepit area. Don't pass up a stay at their ranch~ you will not be disappointed! She even went out of her way to get my shoes back to me....thank you again for letting us stay at your ranch, you guys deserve all the best!

Lovely setting, nice accommodations
We had a family reunion here and enjoyed having enough space we weren’t on top of each other but with plenty of gathering space for people to visit.

Serene and beautiful
Our bungalow was perfect, it was bigger than expected, very clean, and well decorated. It easily and comfortably sleep 2 adults and 4 children. The living seating area is made from 4 twin size mattresss that create the perfect lounging space.
The beds and linens were comfortable and the kitchen had exactly what we needed to make easy meals. They even provided chargers at the bedside.
The property itself was beautiful, from the enormous window in our bungalow we could see horses and beautiful Texas countryside. The pool and surrounding garden area was beautiful and fun to explore. The kids had fun on the two swings which hang from the beautiful live oak trees.We also enjoyed watching the
chickens. Highly recommend visiting this property.

Rustic ranch atmosphere! A real slice of Texas!!
The pool was so refreshing. That area of Texas can be offensively hot so a pool is a must. The house was comfortable & clean. Barbara was a great host. We ate lots of sandwiches and cooked out on the grill since there is no stove/oven.

Perfect in every way!
We are fortunate to live just down the road from this beautiful property. My daughter recently got married at our home and we booked the bungalows for her large wedding party to stay during the festivities. We are so glad we did!
The group loved the bungalows; they were a highlight of their fun filled weekend. The bungalows are situated right next to one another so the whole party could stay together, but still be separate. They contain plenty of sleeping and getting ready space, a full refrigerator and kitchen area, and amazing outdoor decks for relaxing in the midst of picturesque views and gazing at the stars. This unique Hill Country property provides guests with the ability to feel a million miles from everywhere, while at the same time offering easy access to civilization.
Barbara went above and beyond for us to make sure everything was seamless and stress free. She even worked to get another guest house on her property ready for some of my relatives who were coming in from out of town. The five of them also had a perfect stay and said they would return in a heartbeat.
I would highly recommend this beautiful place to anyone looking for an amazing Hill Country get-away!
