Maison relaxante et confortable commençant par une véranda confortable fermée par des fenêtres, puis pénétrant dans le salon avec cheminée et télévision à écran plat. Arcade à l'ancienne dans une cuisine complète avec cuisine neuve, réfrigérateur, micro-ondes. Trois chambres, 6 couchages. 2 lits doubles et 1 avec lits jumeaux. Une salle de bain avec douche et douche extérieure. Pont hors entrée arrière. Chambre pour 3 voitures. Espace pour suspendre les vêtements à l'extérieur. Près de restaurants, boîtes de nuit, banques, laverie et bien plus encore.

Con: I would prefer to have a lock box to get in the house rather than have the owners and their dog there to greet us and give us a list of the things we need to do while we stay and before we leave (trash nights, sweep the floors before we go, make sure dishes are clean and put away before we leave). The list was already hanging up for us to reference.
After driving 3 hours all we wanted to do was unpack and settle in. They were very nice but for us we prefer the ease of a lock box.
BIG CON: The AC wasn't working properly. It was 77-78 degrees for 2 days (high 90's outside). The first day I texted the owner and they never responded. I contacted VRBO and they tried calling the owner and they did not answer. 24 hours later I texted the owner again and they responded. We went out to dinner and they came to the house and when we got back it seemed to cool down. It sounded like some vents needed to be changed out and from then on AC was fine. Unfortunately, 2 of the 4 days we were there it did not work. It also seemed like the thermostat wasn't working properly or they were able to control it from home. We would turn it down, go to the beach, and then the thermostat read something different when we returned.
Pros: beach block! Close to all restaurants, stores, etc., parking for 2-3 cars, outdoor shower was great! Neighbors in the back were really friendly.

This was our second time and everything was great. Due to scheduling we were able to check in early and hit the beach our first day. The cottage has everything you need and the location can’t be beat.

Thank you Louise and Carl for letting us use your comforter home. We had a wonderful time everything was clean and tidy when we arrived which was so nice to see after our journey there. The location could not have been more perfect, located right in the center of Dewey and steps away from the beach. Our family and our puppies had the greatest time and we hope to come back again. The house was cozy and enough room for 6 adults. The location was great to everything. We only drove when we went to the boardwalk and to the state park. It was great to have two showers with 6 adults. The outdoor shower was the biggest hit!

This was our second stay at Louise’s beach cottage! We had an amazing time! Her home is in a perfect location. It is a very short walk to both the beach and all things Dewey! Her cozy home has everything you need for your stay. We loved sitting on the porch in the morning with our coffee or at night with our cocktails. We were fortunate to be able to bring our two golden retrievers, and they absolutely loved the beach! Louise is a wonderful host, and she goes out of her way to make you feel welcome! You will love it here!!

We had such an amazing time staying at Louise’s property. She is a great host! Very close walk to the beach along with multiple restaurants and shops in walking distance. We didn’t move our vehicle all week there was no need to drive. Our favorite part was being able to bring our dog who we found out absolutely loves the beach. The outdoor shower is also a huge bonus. No complaints what so ever and we will definitely be back next summer!

This was our second summer at this beautiful house and it was just as wonderful as the last. The new floors look great and Louise has everything a family needs for a relaxing stay at a great location. Even with rain and a sick 4 year old, we still loved our time at the house. Hope to see you again next year!

This quaint cottage was perfect for our family of 4 and 2 dogs. Close to the beach and all the Dewey and Rehoboth activities. Louise is always reachable and very responsive. I highly recommend and we would stay here again!

Quaint little cottage perfectly located close to everything you want to see in Dewey. Very short walk to the beach where you don't have to walk across a busy road. And then a very short walk to all of the bars and restaurants. St. Patrick's Day/Starboard opening weekend can get a little crazy so it was nice to be able to quickly walk back to the house for some peace and quiet before heading out again. The house was well stocked with everything you need (i.e. dishes, silverware, cups, etc.) Will definitely look into renting this house in the Summer.

My brother and I brought our mother (81 y.o.) down to Dewey Beach for a late September vacation to relax at the ocean and build some memories. The house was fantastic and very convenient for mom to walk over to the beach and to local restaurants. We couldn't have asked for a better location and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This was the perfect location for a quick getaway. Easy walk to the beach and just a few minute drive to the Rehoboth boardwalk. The house is cute and very clean.

The location of this property is amazing. The kids (11 and 13) could go back and forth to the beach alone. We could walk over to the beach early in the morning and set our stuff up and then go home and grab breakfast, and just generally go back and forth all day with no hassle at all. We could also walk to all the Dewey restaurants and stores. We loved the front porch in the evenings. The property was very clean and plenty of space for our family of 4 plus 2 dogs for almost a full week. We loved the outdoor shower. The kitchen was adequate for cooking. The fridge was big and in good shape. The microwave, stove top and oven all worked well. Air conditioner and fans kept the house comfortable even on really hot days. We wished there was a dishwasher, but not a huge deal since we used lots of disposable plates. We did miss a washer/dryer for that length of stay, but location far outweighed that negative. We would definitely come back.

We had a very nice stay. The location is great! Easy to walk to the beach or dinner and delicious ice cream right on the corner. The place was clean and had all the basics you need. Host is nice and easy to communicate with.

Lovely cottage close to beach
Louise’s place was perfect for my family of 4 and our dog. We loved how close to the beach it is and to good restaurants and bars. We took the trolley to Rehoboth boardwalk one night. My dog loved the dog friendly beach in the morning and after 5:30 pm. It’s a great town and a nice place to stay. We had a lot of fun.

Perfect Location
We had a wonderful week at this home in Dewey Beach. It is in a perfect location, and it is so homey. We have stayed in many rentals, and this was by far the cleanest. Louise was great to work, and she was so helpful. Everyone loved the outdoor shower and the front porch! We Our family and 2 dogs had a perfect vacation, and we would love to stay here again!

We rented this property for doodles in dewey. Close to everything. Our puppy Misty had a blast meeting and greeting everyone along the way. We've booked many places thru VRBO over the years but this was definitely the easiest out of all of them.
