Ce condo est un beau trois chambres bien aménagées (plus un loft avec couchage pour quatre personnes), une maison de deux salles de bain et demie avec de nouveaux appareils de luxe, des draps de luxe et un mobilier bien aménagé.
La grande salle donne sur le magnifique ruisseau de marée et toute sa faune sauvage variée. Les portes coulissantes ouvrent un porche grillagé quatre saisons à l'ensemble du salon.
Il y a un grand écran plat T. V. dans la grande salle avec la disponibilité de Netflix et Amazon Prime. Wi-fi gratuit et téléphone inclus. De nombreux jeux, puzzles et livres sont à votre disposition. Nous avons également des vélos, des chaises de plage et des kayaks à votre disposition.

We primarily beach-go and bike around the island, and this house was a perfect relaxation point any time of the day. Some things could be newer about it, but the property rental cost reflects that, and we would stay here again. Our teens loved fishing off of the pier- and the adults did, too. Great BHI location, pool was nice, if you don’t like stairs this is not the place for you, but we didn’t mind, loved the screened porch and AMAZING view, fishing, and location- and the upstairs loft! Well-done if you keep it cool enough, and you get ones feel like they have their own hangout.

Overall we had a great stay and experience. One of the golf cart's lights doesn't work very well and the other golf cart doesn't have a windshield. That made it difficult to drive at night when it was cold. There was also really old, moldy coffee in the coffee maker. Otherwise, everything was great!

This was our first time staying on Bald Head Island. Usually when we go to a beach, we try to stay beachfront, but it was fun staying on the marsh. My husband enjoyed fishing out back and it was easy for him to catch his own bait. Two of us gave the kayaks a whirl, and one of us rode a bike to the beach at sunrise. The location was great for a quick walk to the community pool, and the garage was fully stocked for daily trips to the beach, which were made easy with the golf carts. We cooked all but one meal in the kitchen and had everything we needed to do so. It was spacious inside, beds were comfortable, and showers had great water pressure. The interior wasn't glamorous, but affordable, clean, well-appointed, and perfect for an active family. Wouldn't hesitate a second to return!

This property does not pretend to be high-end but it was more than adequate and the price was very competitive. There were lots of spaces for sleeping (loft) for kids. It was great to have access to 2 golf carts, beach toys, boogy boards, kayaks, chairs, etc. The location on the marsh was just what we wanted.

We had a girls weekend in BHI and had a wonderful stay here. There was plenty of room and the condo had everything we needed. We enjoyed the screened porch and the beautiful view from the condo.

Dawn was very responsive and the stay was wonderful. The porches are relaxing and the kitchen well-stocked for preparing meals. The location is central, making everything easy to get to. Beds were comfortable and showers were warm. Garage equipment was so wonderful to have! A few minor repairs needed (kitchen cabinet, garage door springs), but nothing that detracted from our stay. We would definitely stay again!

We rented this unit when we were on Bald Head for a wedding. It exceeded our expectations - well appointed and well stocked kitchen. Great communication with owners. This is a very spacious condo and would be a great rental for a family vacation and an excellent choice if you're traveling with children of any age.

We had a great time here. The condo had everything we needed. The views from Timbercreek are some of the best on the island, and this unit has a nice porch overlooking the marsh. My teenage girls took over the loft and enjoyed having such a cute private space. The owner was very quick to respond when we had a problem. One of our favorite parts of the trip was that dolphins swam along beside us when we went out in the kayaks. It was amazing!

My brother and I planned this vacation after losing our mom in 2019 and then facing barriers related to the pandemic as they had a newborn baby. We could not have asked for a better stay. Their little one loved exploring the back porch and my daughter loved sleeping in the loft. Everything you could want at the house was available. Beach towels. Beach bag. Chairs. Umbrella. Bikes! It was so nice. If I had any constructive feedback or would be that the bikes need a tune up (chain fell off black bike while we were riding) and that the kayaks needed cleaning. Overall, I’m hopeful that we will be back next year! One sweet moment of the trip was when we realized that the VRBO owner and our late mother shared the same name—Dawn. Thank you for the respite and for the time for us to get to know each other again and for our girls to know the beauty of slow beach days.

The property was exactly as pictured. The views were lovely, the location very convenient. The golf carts were charged and ready to go. Lots of beach bags, toys, coolers, chairs, etc. We couldn't get the TV or the Bose sound system to work, but there was so much to do on the island that we didn't really miss them.

We really enjoyed our stay at this VRBO. The view on the back porch was really pretty and the place had tons of towels, linens and a well stocked kitchen with plenty of cups, utensils, spices, etc. which made the stay very easy and convenient. Bald Head was beautiful and this location was also very convenient to markets, coffee shops, restaurants, etc. The "wooded" area provides a nice break from the beach and a different vibe. If you are going in peak summer months I would recommend 6 people or less, or bring a fan as the loft is a little warm and just takes some time to cool off once the sun goes down.

We had a great trip to BHI! The house came with so many things our rental did not last year - spices, basic kitchen necessities, GOOD beach chairs and beach equipment. I liked this community because of the pool and access to marsh, and central on the island. My only feedback would be to provide a roku / streaming device. TV only came with cable, and we like to stream shows.

We have been coming to BHI for seven years now and this was an absolutely lovely property for our family’s BHI trip. The view of the marsh from the back deck is breathtaking. It’s honestly the best way to enjoy a cup of coffee or glass of wine without mosquito bites. Lots of room to eat lunch or enjoy a book there as well. Our toddler loved playing out there. The bedrooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable (great sheets and blanket options). The upstairs is a very fun place for kids (three twin beds) but keep in mind that it does get hot up there (fans are provided and there is one AC vent but it’s tough to cool that area down). I would suggest adding another stronger floor fan as an option to circulate more air. The owners have made this property feel like your second home with a stocked kitchen — great cookware, spices, coffee, alum foil, coolers, koozies, shopping bags for market, etc. I tend to bring everything for convenience on family trips as we vacation at the beach often so it was a pleasant surprise to find dishwashing pods/liquid, laundry detergent, extra towels, linens, three types of hairdryers, etc. available. I loved the extra baskets/trays to organize beach articles and our kiddo’s toys. The candles were a lovely touch too! Their garage is immaculate with everything you would ever want from kids toys, chairs, bikes to two golf carts. I can’t wait to book a few trips here next year or even later this year again.

However , there was mildew on the ceiling of the porch and mildew on the wood chairs used at the outside table which also badly needed some type of cover or paint on it. I realize that the constant presence of moisture make this difficult but it does need to be addressed. The owner was pleasant to deal with and while the weather was cloudy and cool, we still had a nice time at 10A. (the owner may also want to check the faucet at the kitchen sink and the master bedroom shower - it leaks when first turned on. Thanks for the use of your house!

Great view of the marsh. Lots of beds. Owners were easy to work with. The garage was well stocked with chairs, boogie boards, 2 adult bikes, some kids bikes, 2 golf carts and 3 kayaks. Wonderful spot for fishing. A nice quiet location. The beds and pillows could have been a little more comfy, but otherwise we loved it.

The other reviews are accurate. This property is in a perfect location on the creek, halfway between the harbor/lighthouse and the market. It has everything you could need, including three kayaks, two golf carts, and four bikes (note: two of them are children's bikes). It is nicely shaded by hardwoods. The property is clean, comfortable, relaxing, and attractive. The kitchen is well-stocked. The owner is friendly and communicates exceptionally well & quickly. The price is good and you get a lot for your money. Would absolutely stay here again.

The location was great. House had plenty of room. The beds were comfortable. We had a great time kayaking in the marsh. We used the neighborhood pool some which was nice for us and our kids. The only minor complaints I have are the kitchen could have been cleaner. Some of the cabinets were dirty, broken and the trash compactor was broken, but we didn’t need that. The shower curtain in the main bathroom was covered in mildew and really needs to be replaced. The property advertised 2 kayaks that came with the property but it was obvious they hadn’t been used in a really long time and would need to be cleaned thoroughly before use. That was disappointing because we had to rent a kayak for use when we should have been able to use the ones that came with the property. The garage however was stocked well with everything we needed. Sand toys and boogie boards for the kids and plenty of chairs and a small grill. Property manager was very nice and easy to contact. Overall we had a great stay.

The breathtaking location overlooking the miles of marsh to the distant beach can't be bear. The plan of the unit works very well for a family with 3 teenagers, parents and we even had two grandparents.
One simple improvement would be to replace the porch cushions which are very dirty. Otherwise this is a wonderful place for a vacation.

We stayed here before and love the location and convenience to most everything on the island. The best part is waking up to the sunrise over the marsh. The boys (4 & 6) loved sitting and crabbing on the dock and fishing. And with the beach a short drive away it’s the best of both worlds! There was a hiccup with cleaning, but Dawn took care of it and we had a great weekend!

Dawn was wonderful to work with and very responsive. Her home was the perfect layout. My kids loved being in the loft and they got a big kick out of the VHS player and tapes! They learned all about “rewind!” ( A DVD player is also included along with lots of kids books and games). The home has beautiful new floors that were immaculate and the most gorgeous dining room table. Bikes, carts, beautiful marsh view and plenty of linens and beach towels. We had the best time! We loved the condo and we absolutely loved the location! The view was incredible and very peaceful....looking out over the marsh. The condo itself was on the top floor and it felt like it was nestled in the trees. The beds were very comfortable and the fact the owners had made the balcony into a four season room was nice as we could sit there and enjoy the view and not be cold.

Location truly is everything! The view was stunning! Fully stocked and well working kitchen, but needs some updating. Rentals and time have taken their toll on the inside. The loft was unusable as there was no working lights and all windows were covered. And ac/heat does not vent to loft. Fully stocked with 2 golf carts, kayaks & beach towels so only grab your buckets & shovels! The porch was nice as it has windows, not just a screen so could enjoy it in cooler weather. King beds were comfy. Overall it was a great weekend spent on the island.

We had a very nice first Thanksgiving at BHI. Our kids (13 and 11) woke up every morning and fished off the dock for at least two hours. That was a huge bonus. There was plenty of space for everyone to have together time as well as alone time. Great location to anywhere you’d like to go.
