Maison de plage toute saison construite en 1990 pour famille élargie avec 4 chambres et une salle futon, 2 bains et une douche extérieure. Salon intérieur en bois clair double hauteur ouvert sur salle à manger et cuisine. Une cuisine bien équipée comprenant 2 fours et lave-vaisselle avec un grand espace de travail pour accueillir plusieurs cuisiniers. Grand porche à 3 côtés qui attrape les brises d'été, vues sur Buzzards Bay et couchers de soleil spectaculaires. Laveuse et sécheuse au rez-de-chaussée. Association plage devant la maison disponible pour la baignade et le canotage, chaussures d'eau recommandées. Vélos, kayaks, table de ping-pong dans le garage, jeu de croquet pour la cour et jouets de plage sont disponibles.
2 miles au supermarché, aux magasins et pendant la saison estivale, le camion vend du maïs et des produits frais. Accès facile à la piste cyclable Fairhaven, à la zone de conservation et aux plages de l'Ouest-de-l'Île, au Fairhaven Centre historique, au New Bedford Whaling Museum, au ferry pour Martha Vineyard et Cuttyhunk, et à proximité de Newport, Providence et Boston.

The house was overall very nice. The location and amenities can't be beat. Would definitely stay again.

Home was warm and welcoming, plenty of open space for family gathering and also little get aways for time alone all with an ocean view. Joyful time spent here, and we would love to return.

We had a great time. The best thing about the property was that it was unlike most rentals because everything worked as described. I don't think even one item was a disappointment. It had good dishes, working utilities, good furniture, enough bathrooms, it was well-supplied with everything. We left some stuff behind to accomodate for stuff we used. the pictures were good and not deceptive. It could use AC, but being on the beach the need is less than elsewhere. Our hosts were nice and did not bother us, it was a very pleasant place to stay for a week and relax with the family. The beach is actually 100 feet away, but there were not other properties between the beach and the house and the place was very private.

The location was very convenient to everything! The views are incomparable!! Panoramic views of the bay; just gorgeous. The only downfall was that the cleaning was lacking. Cobwebs everywhere; left over soap bars and containers in the showers as well as mold on the shower curtain. Woken up by the smoke alarm going off at 5 am found a spider inside that caused alarm to go off. Had two more instances of spiders one in my bed at 5:30 am and another dropping from the ceiling on me in the kitchen. Just think the cleaning crew needs a pep talk to get the place ready better. Towels were old and very worn. Also found the request to wash and dry linens and towels before the 10am checkout to be unrealistic.

It's a beautiful house, well-equipped, in a great area. Perfect for an extended-family gathering. Owner is easy to deal with. We would surely rent the house again

A Home away from home
Loved the quaintness of the space! The views were breathtaking and the location was perfect. My fishing buddies all agree that this home is worth a revisit. Even the cloudy days were beautiful! The host John was truly appreciated.

Wonderful beach house
Home is well stocked with everything one could want. Beds are good, ocean view is great, neighborhood is quiet, kayaks and bicycles, ping pong and games aplenty. We had a lovely time, and recommend this property highly

Breathtaking views.
We stayed in this wonderful home, with its gorgeous view of the water. We walked the path up to the beach, and toured the area. We were here for a family wedding and staying in a house is just what we needed.

Awesome property and location!
My siblings and I wanted a long fall weekend with my mom in New England. This was the perfect place for us! The house was wonderful - had everything we needed. Plenty of space and you couldn't beat the location! Not only is it on the water, with amazing views and sunsets, but we were centrally located for all the places we wanted to visit. There were only 4 of us this time, but we already started talking about booking another trip here and bringing the kids.
The owner was also very responsive and included a lot of good information in the welcome letter.
I would highly recommend this rental!

Annual sister getaway
Lovely house, great views of Buzzard Bay, quiet. Great deck to sit and have a glass of wine or a beer. We explored New Bedford which is very close - went to Whaling Museum, Glass Museum and historic house. All great but the glass Museum was our favorite.
Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and great owner. Easy walk to the bay (about a thousand yards) that we all enjoyed, especially one sister who loves birds. Highly recommend.

Family time
Originally from area and have many family there. With a family wedding, family travelled from across country . Our stay here was fantastic. Beautiful views, comfortable beds. There was even toys to entertain our 4 year old. We will be back, maybe annually!

Peaceful Wedding Weekend Retreat
Our family rented this beautiful home for my son’s wedding weekend. With all of the running back and forth for all of the wedding events and family/friends coming and going, having this beautiful, spacious, light filled home, right on the water, to come home to rest and recoup was an absolute blessing! We will definitely stay here again!!

The house was great and just as described.
The house and lawn were great. Plenty of room for my family of 6 adults and 6 children. We were able to find some sandy places in the water at low tide, but overall, not great for smaller children. The only thing I wish we had known was the need to wash, dry and fold the sheets before we left on Saturday morning before 10AM. It was very difficult to accomplish this for 7 beds. If we had known this, I would have probably brought my own so the packing and cleaning process could have been a little less stressful. Overall a great house and great location.

Great place to stay with groups
Stayed with family for parents 50th Anniversary 10 of us total. Plenty of room, things to do indoors (games/puzzles) and out (lawn games, bikes, kayaks, SUP, etc.). The large table fit everyone for meals and we put outside tables together to eat on the deck for great sunset views. Not a great beach but could walk over a bit to the left for sandy spot and then walk the sandbar back. Lots of shells, crabs and fish to see. A birders paradise everywhere you look including the osprey nest nextdoor with a baby. Bunnies everywhere too. Not too far from shops and other beaches. The outdoor shower was especially nice. Would love to stay again.

Family sharing our love of the ocean
The privacy and safety of the neighborhood, size of the yard , house and deck with locked gates is totally relaxing and accommodating. Neighbors are friendly. The beach and location couldn’t be better. The harbor and boat traffic are entertaining throughout the day. The sunsets are always perfect!!! We love Fairhaven!

Beautiful home
My family and I stayed here over the Christmas holiday and it was a wonderful experience. The house was beautiful, the sunsets gorgeous, and it provided a nice relaxing home away from home for us. The owner was easily reached and the house came with everything we needed. Definitely looking forward to staying here again!

Great place - even in winter!
We really enjoyed our time at this property. Our daughter works at the New Bedford Art Museum and New Bedford Whaling National Historical Park (which we would recommend as well) and this property allowed us to stay with her and our other daughter and her fiance over the New Year's weekend. The property was spacious and very comfortable. It would have been nice to have another bath or 1/2 bath especially if you have 6 or more people. That being said, the 2 baths were workable as long as you are aware of that limitation.
Dealing with John (the rental manager) was delightful and he was very responsive.

Great for our purposes as colleagues who gather to teach together. Plenty of private and common space, excellent kitchen and right on the sea. What else can we ask for?

Beautiful house and area
Spent a few days and nights there and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Great house, and beautiful view of Fairhaven/New Bedford area from the back deck. Tiny TV but we didn’t watch much. Anyways, no complaints 👍👍

Phenomenal rental property, great place to bring the family to enjoy time together and unplug from technology. Great location with all possible amenities a family could ever need in close proximity to property location. John is fantastic and very accommodating, would definitely recommend to all friends and family.

Gathering for a family wedding
My extended family from California, Pennsylvania and New York attended my niece's wedding in Dartmouth. The beach house was an ideal place for us to get together and socialize in the days before and after. The facilities and amenities were great. I wish we had the time to use the kayaks and other equipment, but we made good use of the open floor plan, well-appointed kitchen and expansive decks and grounds for pre and post ceremony cocktail parties and informal conversations. The views of the bay at sunset were indescribable. This would be a specatacular place for a family's summer vacation.
