Thought I requested a room close to the front, minimal walking… we couldn’t have been farther away from the elevator and front door.. Staff was awesome

Property clean. Staff nice. No vending machines which meant NO DRINKS. Free breakfast not good. Skipped all three days and bought it somewhere else. Pool not heated which meant too cold to swim. No exhaust fan in bathroom. No good tv channels.

Tariq was such a kind and gentle resource. I came there, last minute, with 4 teenage girls and Tariq came through for me on each and every request (like the rolling bed). I’ve visited five different international countries in the last eight weeks and of the twelve or so hotels I checked into, none of them had a host like Tariq. He is a kind and gentle soul a great asset to the organization. Give him a raise (woo-hoo Tariq, I hope you get paid)!

The air conditioner was leaking water all over my floor. When we came back from dinner, the carpet was soaking wet and put down a towel. Shut off the air conditioner. Call downstairs to the front desk told him my air conditioning was leaking. They told me maintenance would be up and about 10 minutes Maintenance did come up handed me a towel and told me to put it on the floor, but he had sore. I already had one. He told me to put it on top of the one that’s there and to run the air conditioner because tomorrow he was going to rip it out we went to sleep I said the air conditioner for 66° on high the room never got cool. I had a terrible night sleep. I sweat it all night and I’m not happy with your accommodations.

This is perfectly located for a daytrip to Nantucket. We booked 2 nights. Took an Uber to Seastreak ferry. Worked well. Gene's seafood a short drive. Very good quality and cheap seafood. No frills. Hotel room was a bit humid. Constant ac is necessary but loud. Also, in order to provide amazing service, rooms are done every 2 days, per the little note they give you... Breakfast is above average for this kind of hotel. Naturally absolutely no recycling; plastic throw away everything; but this is standard in the US. Very comfortable bathroom, lots of countertop room. Bottom line: yes, we'd come again. Bottom line:

We had a great stay! Despite being under renovation the hotel was well maintained and the staff here were all incredibly lovely. The outdoor pool was really nice to have and midweek we basically had it to ourselves. The breakfast was okay but not the best we’ve had included at other locations. It was so convenient to what we were there to do so that was a huge plus. Will absolutely return next time we want to visit New Bedford area!

The office staff was very friendly and informative. We booked a king bed with 1 sofa bed and it was so roomy. The room was very clean and had been freshly updated. Continental Breakfast was delicious and a huge verity of food. It was an awesome experience and would recommend anyone to stay at this location.

It took almost 10 minutes to find some to check us in. There was nobody in the lobby.

Loud noises over night. We didn’t know about construction until we arrived, but that wasn’t during construction hours or even days. Mechanical sounds in the walls. Clerk wasn’t at the desk when we arrived

Sink wouldn’t drain, gym was closed for renovation, and the laundry listed as an amenity did not exist. Room was nice however, and breakfast was good.

The service excellent from all the employees. Some exits were closed due to renovations, so we need to walk almost a block to take the elevator in second floor. The entrance sliding door didn't work correctly.

We stayed 2 nites at the Hampton Inn by Hilton New Bedford/Fairhaven over Memorial Day weekend to see the USS Massachusetts battleship & the PJ Kennedy destroyer at the Battleship Cove. This is one of the few hotels that have a room for 5 people. Having 3 kids sometimes it's hard to find hotel rooms that can sleep 5. The room was very spacious and comfortable for all of us. With a Mid size fridge, coffee maker, microwave and even a small bar sink. The reception was welcoming and they had a 24 hr coffee bar with free tea, coffee, hot cocoa (makes happy kids after a long car ride), iced water dispenser. It was new, nice and clean, despite undergoing more renovations in the lobby. Our room was a brand new remodel wirh a walk in shower with glass sliding doors. King bed, pull out couch, free rollaway bed & crib. It was easy to park and free; along with free wifi, free hot breakfast with eggs, meat, waffles, selection of baked goods, cereal, whole fruits, yogurt, juices. The 2 breakfast ladies were so kind to fetch immediately a new bottle of whip cream for my son when it ran out for his freshly made Waffles. That turned a disappointed child into a smiling child and I was so grateful for her kindness. The ladies replenished items quickly and were responsive to the guests' every request while keeping things spotless. They provided more superior service than a waiter/waitress working for tips. I had to tip them 2 after our last day of breakfast. We had a wonderful weekend getaway.

It was very comfortable & we felt very welcomed by the receptionist on arrival. She asked are reason for the trip & we explained it was for a funeral & offered her condolences. A part of the first floor was under renovation but it didn't interfere with anything. They offered us bottles of water as they were having problems with the city water. The breakfast was great & we even went back for seconds & they had a wide variety of items. Our hats of to the cooks. Check out was easy & no problems. Would definitely stay there again if we are in the area.

It took three rooms to get one that didn’t have some kind of dried up reddish fluid on the shower floor and an air conditioner that worked. The second room was 68 degrees when we got there. I like the temp to be around 65-66 while I’m sleeping. I set the thermostat to 65 and we went to dinner. When we got back a few hours later the temperature actually went up a degree to 69. I was told by the front desk person that the air conditioner was on a motion sensor and that it would only cool when someone was in the room because it’s a lot of wasted energy to cool the room when no one is there. I naturally laughed and asked her what I was supposed to do at night , wave my hand every so often to make the air think there was someone there and cool the room. I’ve been told some dumb things before at hotels because they think you are a dope and don’t know anything. This tops them all.
