The breakfast was the best as Antonio put out a very generous spread which included freshly squeezed orange juice and squash marmalade/jam he made himself as well as yummy cheeses, breads, cold cuts, fresh fruit and dessert. It was our favourite part of the day and just an excellent start to every day. Antonio also checked in to make sure we had things organized and he was always helpful to give us additional information.

It was a bit far from attractions, which made it a bit challenging to get an Uber driver to come get us or drop us off. We were told, it was a good thing it’s low season (February). Other than that, we would go back to stay in this property.

Pretty much everything! An elevated site with great views of the surrounding countryside. Spacious accommodation with plenty of wardrobe space ( I take a lot of clothes on holiday!). Great pool & a raised terrace with table tennis table. The breakfast area is in a fabulous building & the breakfasts are generous. Cereal/yoghurt/fresh fruit/meat & cheese platter/ bread , butter & preserve plus delicious home made cake/pastry ( a different one each day!). The owners are delightful & bend over backwards to be helpful.

It took us a while to get the TV to work properly & we wanted to watch the Tour de France& the women’s Euro’s.

Everything! Location, room, breakfast, hosts & dogs - lovely! We travelled with a baby so we received a cot, blanket, extra towels and baby high chair during breakfast. Thank you! I would highly recommed having a car while staying here as it is hard to arrive using other transportation methods. By car, I would say the road is pretty good. 15 minutes drive from Faro.

The location was great for getting around the Algarve, and it is easy to get to even though a bit off the beaten track. Antonio was great and helpful. The breakfast was lovely and made even better by the two adorable dogs on the property! A fun stay altogether and we definitely recommend to any family visiting the area!

The room was well equipped, comfortable, modern and had a fantastic view over the countryside. Antonio was helpful,welcoming and provided a great breakfast in a room with a lovely view. We enjoyed sitting on the terrace and sunbeds by the pool where there was good wi fi. Even the 2 dogs seemed pleased to see us.

We were glad to arrive in the daylight and use the instructions sent and very pleased to see the sign from the main road from Estoi as it would have been hard to find in the dark. Otherwise everything exceeded our expectations.

Wonderful breakfasts! An idyllic very rural setting with great views. Delightful hosts who run a an exceptional small quinta hotel Loved the pool, the gardens, the superb room, the relaxed atmosphere, the views (so many birds!). Everything was perfect for us and please remember that this was only 20 minutes from the port and city centre of Olhao, so easy access to Culatra and the islands, and within easy reach of Faro. What more could you wish for? Can't wait to return in October!

Our stay in Quinta do Mocho Turismo Rural absolutly comforting. The hospitality of Antonio and Dila, who were very attentive, was just outstanding. The day we arrived Dila cooked a delicious meal so we didn't need to leave for dinner anymore. Thank you so much for that. The breakfast offered fresh fruits, freshly pressed orange juice, yogurt, cereals, fresh bread, jam, cheese, ham, omelette, cake...everything what your heart desires in order to start powerful into the day. The apartment was modern, huge and equipped with all amenities. The clean pool was exactly the right place to refresh and relax before or after a day out either on the beach, in Olhao (which is only 15 min. away by car) or in the hilly beautiful backland. So all in all Quinta do Mocho Turismo Rural is a highly recommend spot to gear down, free the mind and enjoy Portugal (southern Algarve) at it's best. We would always come back. So once again : Muito obrigada por todo Dila, Antonio, Eslinda, Bart and last but not least Duck ❤️

This accommodation is in the middle of the Algarve countryside. It is so peaceful and a beautiful place to relax in. The owners Antonio and Maria are excellent hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. They made our stay that much more perfect and we are grateful to them. The rooms are spacious and airy with beautiful views of the countryside.

We arrived by car at night. The pathway to reach the Quinta do Mocho is a little bit tricky, but the place is very nice so it’s worth it.

Traditional Portuguese 👍 great location,spotless accommodation,the owner Antonio & family were so friendly & helpful, Antonio also sent a mail with directions, as it’s a little off the beaten track, which was helpful at 22-00 hours!. Breakfast was excellent, fresh pressed OJ, omelette ,eggs from Antonio’s chickens ❤️& liked the Portuguese meats. All in all could not recommend this Turismo Rural enough 👍👍 also which was a nice you could purchase some of the excellent Portuguese wines

We were so impressed with everything here. The building and surroundings are in perfect condition with the room having a modern, fresh feeling with a lot of natural light able to fill the room which was perfect for us to wake up to as we could keep the curtains open so we could wake up with the sun! And of course, a nice view to boot! The area facing our room was uninhabited land so having the curtains open was not a problem at all. It feels very comfortable and safe. Breakfast here was also a highlight in our stay in Algarve! The omelette Antonio made was so delicious and the eggs were from his own chickens! Just wonderful! Our stay was short but impactful and we are sure that when we are in the region again, we will most certainly look for availability here straight away! Plus they have 2 beautiful and sweet dogs with the most impressive German Shepherd we have ever seen! Thank you, Antonio! Hope to return soon!

Antonio, our host, was very nice and helpful. Quinta do Mocho is a beautiful, calm place in the middle of a stunning nature; the breakfast was rich, fresh and delicious.

Upon your arrival, you are assigned a breakfast table and pool chairs for your stay, so you know that those are always free and clean for you. The place is peaceful and relaxed. Our room was spacious and clean.

Dream come true. This is how I can summarize our stay at Quinta do Mocho. It is your must stay location when exploring Algarve region. All exceeded our expectations: comfort,cleanliness,owners made us feel like at home and became our friends, food-you can order diner on site, what I highly recommend, you can expect delicious/homemade food, the owners went beyond and above to fulfill our needs(our laundry including), and what is priceless is opportunity to go on the balcony at night and see sky full of stars...If you do not have a car to get there from Faro or any other nearby airport i.e. Sevilla, owners can recommend you company which will transfer you to their magical, rural location. If you travel by car put initially Quinta das Poetas to the waze/navigation only after when you pass it put Quinta do Mocho, this will get you there with better road:) We hope to come back soon, cheers Maria&Antonio, we miss you already

All was amazing

Really nice, clean and quite place. Breakfast was really good and with a lot of variety. Owner was super nice and helpful.

Possibly a little difficult to find with the windy narrow roads but the Quinta itself is a thoroughly delightful place, excellent outlook, beautifully built, comfortable accommodation and a very warm welcome.

The warm welcome from the hosts, we arrived late at night and they were waiting for us in their place which was warm and quiet away from the noise of the city. The amazing breakfast (we loved the jam and the orange juice), the room was minimal and simple like we wanted for us to relax and enjoy our stay. The hosts helped us in everything we wanted and we will definitely go back again when we visit faro the next time....

The road to arrive in the property especially at night was a bit difficult cause they were not signs to show us the right direction. Apart from that everything was exceptional! keep up the good quality and see u soon...

We enjoyed the silence of the place. Excellent for rest, with great pool with salt treatment. Large apartment, well decorated.
