Ms. Dee is the perfect hostess and her home is the perfect location for what I desired. Someplace small in the Marigny, preferably with an on-site owner, in a location that I felt safe, as a woman travelling alone. The proximity to both Royal and Dauphine streets made it a straight shot to the French Quarter without dealing with Bourbon street congestion. (Get the blue bike app and rent one when you can for even cooler, easier sightseeing.) I flew in but parking would have been possible on the street if I needed to. Nice neighbors, secure door lock on private entrance, an owner who thinks of all the little things that one might need in their room. Very satisfied with the quality of my stay.

This is a gem! The hostess is absolutely the best and the property was ideal for a week with my daughter for her 21st! It’s a perfect location close to Frenchmen but quite enough we could sleep. There’s a coffee shop next door and you can easily get around some lovely parts of the city! We will be back here, this is my go to!

It was a very pleasant to stay. Dee was so nice and helpful. Anything we ask for she was right there. Recommend anyone to stay there.

My boyfriend and I had a great time celebrating our birthdays in New Orleans. Deanna was a fabulous host - greating us with a bottle of champagne and lots of great tips the moment we arrived. Her home is walking distance to both Frenchman and Bourbon streets and a stop along the "Hop on Hop Off" bus tour is 2 blocks away. We even got to see a second line celebration in the neighborhood! What a great trip!

My girlfriend and I absolutely loved our stay here during our 6 nights in New Orleans. The location is perfect. It's in a safe and quiet part of town, a very walkable distance from Frenchman Street (lots of bars and restaurants) and the French Quarter. There is a great coffee shop next door that we went to every morning, which was super convenient. Dee, our host, was lovely and incredibly accommodating. We stayed here for Jazz Fest and Dee let us borrow her folding chairs, umbrellas, and blankets (and even offered to wash our muddy shoes) when she realized we did not bring our own. She was very responsive and always a text/call away in case we needed anything. Southern hospitality at its finest! I highly recommend staying here for 1-2 people looking for a great location in New Orleans!

My girlfriend and I stayed for a weekend trip and had an incredible experience, Dee is a saint! We arrived at 1 am after a flight delay, but Dee still greeted us with a bottle of champagne, stories about the city, and recommendations of what to do during our stay. The room itself is attached to the rest of the house, but it is completely isolated and has its own front door entrance so we had complete and total privacy when we wanted it. The location is perfect, the neighborhood is cute and quaint, but it is close enough to stumble back from Frenchman or Bourbon streets at any hour. If you are looking for a cozy place to serve as a home base while you explore the French quarter, this is it. We will definitely be staying with Dee again when we return!

Historic small studio in excellent location. Close to Frenchman St and the quarter. Dee excellent host very responsive. Nice coffee shop close. Many wonderful restaurants within walking distance. Historic charm, not a chain hotel room.

We had such a great time and the owner greeted us personally. Our cosy room was within walking distance of everything and the neighborhood has a cafe next door and great eats nearby. Highly recommend!

The room was exactly what we were looking for. Dee was very communicative, available and accommodating to all our needs. The location was perfect for our quick access to the Marginy and Frenchmen area and next door to an awesome coffee shop.

We had a truly wonderful stay here for 4 nights over New Year's Eve. The property is just lovely: spotlessly clean, big spacious rooms, beautiful furnishings and decor. There are lots of bedrooms and bathrooms and a big open kitchen and living room with the most comfortable sofa. The house is perfectly situated in the quiet Marigny neighborhood, but is just 10 minutes walk to the crazy, vibrant French Quarter shops, restaurants and bars. The very best music clubs are 2 short blocks away on Frenchmen Street. There is even a cool little coffee house next door with great Lattes and a nice assortment of gluten free and regular pastries. The owner of the house is super kind and attentive. Our plane was delayed and we arrived 4 hours late to find a cold bottle of Champagne and real glasses! We really enjoyed chatting up with her about all the great things to do and see while we were in New Orleans. We will definitely stay here again!
