Everything about this place is perfect. We loved it!

Very clean and great location.

We felt so fortunate to find this little gem sitting right on the sand. We loved watching the light change over the ocean from the windows and incredible deck. Could hear the sounds of the surf, what a great lullaby. It is such a walkable beach, we couldn't get enough. The house is very comfortable and well appointed. The description given is very accurate. It is close to everything. The host was great at communicating. We had a perfect get-a-way.

We came from Ohio to see our 2 adult children who live here. House was roomy for the 4 of us & son’s dog. Especially enjoyed the back porch overloooking the ocean. Close to boardwalk & restaurants. The house was super clean & well stocked. Will definitely stay here again!

Absolutely perfect!! Located directly on the beach. Restaurants within walking distance. The house was spotless. We couldn't have asked for anything more. Highly recommend this beach home.

The cottage was perfect for the 4 of us and a dog. The location couldn’t have been better either. The communication with the owner, Mike, was always prompt and pleasant. Will be staying here anytime we come to Carolina Beach in the future!

Wonderful private house with easy beach access.

This beach cottage is just steps from the beach. It’s also centrally located, so you’re close to plenty of dining options. The cottage has been updated and everything functioned properly. The furniture and beds were all pretty comfortable. The outdoor space our back is lovely. We would definitely rent it again.

My family and I loved our stay at Mark’s Beach house. It was big enough and cozy enough for 5 of us (and our pup), and the location couldn’t have been better. Right on the beach, walkable to restaurants and ice cream. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay!

This place was the perfect cottage for a long birthday weekend to celebrate my duaghters birthday wirh her firends. Easy access to the beach, lots of nice people, beautiful water and a short walk to eating places. We even got to see a wedding infront if our place on the beach. We will be back!

This was our second time staying at this lovely house. The house and location are perfect. We enjoy the short walk to the beach. The view from the back deck is wonderful and relaxing.

The house sits beachfront. Great views from back deck. Lucy, our 6 pound dog loved it as did we- two over 70 adults. Would love to go back next time we want a North Carolina vacation.

This cottage is a gem! All the obvious considerations (location, cleanliness, check in, communication ) were great. In addition, so many little touches that made the week so enjoyable. The only thing that could have better would have been the weather! However, with a good book in a VERY comfortable recliner sitting next to a window with an amazing view- it was still a great day! Thanks Mike for allowing us to share this special place!

We so enjoyed our stay here, the location was perfect, close to attractions, shopping and many local restaurants. The house was beautiful, had everything we needed and was right on the beach, just right for a couple, the prefect getaway. We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. Looking forward to going back again.

This lovely, clean, and comfortable beachfront cottage is a wonderful place to kick back, enjoy the ocean and beach life......The kitchen is stocked, the beds are heavenly, the views from most every window is of the ocean and at night you can hear the waves. Also, you just walk out the front door, down a board walk to the beach. It was simply perfect for us and the stay was beyond awesome. Mike is a first rate host and his place is first rate as well!

The location of this cute house on the beach couldn’t be better. Having 1.5 bathrooms and an outdoor shower a bonus. Porches both sides are very nice especially ocean side. Poly furniture on porch and on Mikes beach made for comfortable outdoor seating. Easy access to beach, tiki bar, and restaurants. Perfect size for two couples. Beds comfortable! Mike is responsive and no issues communicating. We enjoyed our stay in this adorable little spot on the ocean. Thank you!

We really enjoyed the cottage at the beach. Clean, newly updated, comfortable beds, and kitchen equipped with the necessities. Perfect location directly on the ocean, and the pier close by. Close to shops and the boardwalk for great restaurants and fun for the kids. We will definite be back!

This rustic cabin is a spectacular oasis—surrounded by ocean views from almost every room. This cozy and well-appointed place was simply lovely, and an ideal spot for our family to gather (four adults and my small doggo). Mike’s home was warm and welcoming with a fully-stocked, updated kitchen and stylish decor. The deck and private “Mike’s Beach” in the back yard were the ultimate spaces to feel and experience this ocean-front serenity. We gathered outside on the deck for coffee and conversation in the mornings as we watched the waves crest from the 360 degree vantage point, and sat outside in the Adirondack chairs on Mike’s Beach for a private sun and sand experience in the afternoon. The walkway to the beach was conveniently located just steps away from the cottage. (My dog loved our beach walks. Me too.) Michael, the owner, (a congenial life-long surfer), was the ultimate host. Communication was open and fun. He provided everything we needed for an optimal stay, and took excellent care of us. Just bring your towels, your favorite chef’s knife, and your love of the beach for a sublime experience in this one-of-a-kind ocean-front spot. This oasis awaits! We can’t wait to return.

This home was perfect and we wished we had booked it for a longer stay. First, the home was very clean and beautifully decorated. It was perfect for the two of us and our dog but could easily accommodate additional guests. The home had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The best part was the location! Right on the beach with ocean views! We had very nice weather for February, and enjoyed the back deck and beach. We walked down to the Ocean View Grill for food and drinks. Enjoyed dinners at Stoked and The Havanah. And Granny's right across the street for breakfast. Thank you so much for sharing your beach house with us and would love to come back for a longer stay!

This was our second stay here and we were just as happy as the first time. Updates had been made with a new back deck (we missed the gate however, for the dog!) and everything was clean and comfortable. The location is great! One of my favorite cottages to stay.
