The property was well equipped. We were seven people and could cook dinner for all without a problem. The location is good - only 20 minutes by car from some of Normandy beaches.

The bathroom downstairs was a bit smelly. we notified the owner who said they will look into it. Some of us thought the beds are not as good as it could be but otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and will choose this again if we come to the area.

Good location with car parking on site. Kitchen facilities were good with dishwasher and washing machine.

Would have liked some toiletries provided eg. soap.

There is absolutely nothing to complain about. We were very well received on our arrival by our host, and shown around the gite - which is in the most beautiful setting on a farm. The location is perfect with prolific bird life - and is close to Bayeux, Caen and the beaches. The weather even played its part and we were able to have a couple of good South African braais! There were two couples. At no stage did we feel we were on top of one another. There was more than enough room for all of us - with a bedroom to spare. Highly recommended.

Very charming house and excellent host!! It's very central and well placed if you want to visit all the D day museums, beaches etc. The house is very well equipped, with everything you need, including cooking, grill, games, training etc. I visited with 3 friends and send pictures to my wife, who instantly answered "we should go there"!!

I liked about everything, the property is beautiful and typical for the region, there is a lot of space so that 2 families can spend wonderful vacations there. The kitchen is best equipped so we did not miss anything ...

There is nothing we did not like about this property, only 3 days were too short there, even if we had typical Normandy weather.

Large property with 3 spacious bedrooms, big eat-in kitchen, TV room, washing machine, 2 shower rooms, private garden with BBQ and deck chairs, front porch with sitting chairs, games room in an adjacent building with baby-foot, exercise machines, billiards, pingpong. Enormous garden adjacent with swings and massive vegetable patch. Easy to collect and return keys, reactive hosts who seem to be onsite. Kitchen is very well-equipped (no hand soap provided but there was dishwashing liquid). Very quiet, comfortable beds. Great internet connexion. Lots of books for kids and adults to read. Very close to Bayeux (10 minute drive), 20 minutes to the beaches. Relaxing country stay.

TV room was a bit dark, but that is the case with most houses of this age. No shops nearby (closest are in Bayeux which is only a 10 minute drive), and not easy to go for a walk as there are no footpaths on the roads. Maybe nice to have some board games.
