Cleanness and kindness of the owner.

Comfort of the bed. Uncomfortable.

The owner is a German that speaks Croatian. That alone earns him my respect , but in addition to that he seems to have really been interested in our wellbeing and was very helpful with everything while respecting our privacy. Very open and communicative over WhatsApp and phone. The place was very clean and had youtube and netflix on the TV. The house looks like it was built a week ago. Would visit again.

No kitchen. The distance from Rovinj might bother someone who didn't come with a car but it was no probs for us.

Rovinj is 15 min by car, beautiful city!

Shoes/flip-flops must be off in the house that's kind of strange.. You have to go pass trough the living room from the host to go to your room. Badrooms are not in the room itself. first you must go on the public hall to go to the badroom. Also the shower was cold. The bed blanked was also to short for 2 people..

I stayed here by myself for 3 nights in august and it was such a beautiful villa, my room had a gorgeous big spa bath and a beautifully soft comfortable bed. I loved that it was an eco villa which promoted not using plastics where possible and eating natural whole foods. Nick the host couldn’t do enough for me! We arranged a pick up and drop off at a really reasonable price. He gave me a really good mountain bike to use during my time there and showed me some incredible old country lanes down into the historical town of rovinj which is 5km away. He also made me a coffee every morning and offered me fresh fruit. The location is perfect for exploring the local areas and there is a really nice restaurant called Midea just a 3 minute cycle away. Nick took me back to the airport but first took me zip lining through these two mountains, took me to see waterfalls and historical sites such as an old castle and an old colluseum. He is one of the best hosts I have ever had and would absolutely recommend staying here!

The property was very clean and Nik was extremely welcoming and helpful. The free bicycles were great as there a number of bike trails that led to Rovinj.

Location - buses between Rovinj and Rovinjsko Selo are quite infrequent. The bicycles were useful for getting to Rovinj but difficult to get back due to the steep incline, so we had to get taxis.

Property is kept very tidy and clean.

The property is advertised as "plastic free" (although PVC windows and flooring all around the house) and for that reason owner has decided not to install any mosquito nets on the windows. That led to our horrible first night, since we couldnt sleep in room full of mosquitos. The next day, we drove 30km to buy a net and some duck tape and problem was solved for the rest of our stay. Some photos of property here on booking are missleading (like ones from garden, animals, etc.-non existent)
