Die Wellnessanlage ist hervorragend. Hotel und Restaurant ebenfalls sehr gut! --- Intetessanterweise gibt es hier einige schlechte Bewertungen: kann ich definitiv nicht nachvollziehen! Ich war zu 100% zufrieden bzw. begeistert und schon mehrfach hier. --- Auch die Umgebung mit See und schönen Rad- und Spazierwegen ist mehr als empfehlenswert.

Als fkk-Wellnessanlage ausgewiesen, die meisten Gäste aber baden angekleidet, das ist dann für die FKK-Anhänger eher ausgrenzend.

No fridge in the room , no air condition in the room - was 22-23 dec C during my stay - and itw as OK , but - I am wondering how it will be in hot days

The best way to descibe the hotel is "unique!". It was an alternative hotel to where I normally stay in the area and being on the lake was nice as I could go off for a walk in the morning. It has a lot of charm and was lovely an clean and quiet as was a long way from the main roads which was really important for me. Staff were nice, but I'm not sure how many english people spend time there as I did feel a little bit like an "odd one out" as my German is not brilliant and I gave it a good go, but a few of them seemed to find it amusing that I was stopping in the hotel - but it wasn't a show stopper. I didn't use the Spa as I was on a busy work trip so can't comment on that. Room was lovely and comfortable - but woudl have been nice to have a few English speaking channels, but again, not really a problem. I will probably stop again when I'm out again now I know how it works.

From what my colleague said being in close proximity to the swimming pool, the "view" was a bit of a surprise apparently when people were in the pool - I'll let your imagination deal with that one, so perhaps a bit more pool privacy wouldn't hurt.

We had planned a trip for business purposes and had booked 2 rooms for this. Unfortunately, we had to cancel on short notice due to sickness. We explained our issue and asked nicely to get a voucher, or at least to get a part refund. Instead the management just cancelled our request and we fully paid our rooms. If you pay €400 per night for a room, one would expect at least some gesture from the hotel management. The staff on the phone was at least very friendly and professional.

i would have liked a little snack and smoothie bar in the spa area.

The Spa was very good, the saunas are very clean and well sized. The pools are great. The location next to the lake and proximity to the zoo make the location fantastic. The breakfast is extremely diverse and well presented.

If you don't book dinners in advance you're asked to use the a la carte restaurant, which is not good at all: Extremely expensive and very bad value for money. There are no dinner alternatives in walking distance. There's a lack of staff around and you don't feel well catered. Parking is scarce. The rooms' ambience is somewhat tacky.

No people, empty place, staff not helping

Nothing. SImply the breakfast was substandard.

All. Quite plainly the breakfast was served as 30 years ago in absolutely hygienically outdated facilities. In modern eco-hotels or Bio-hotels or wellness hotels all food MUST be served in coolboxes, which must assure 2-6C+ only, and the food MUST be prevented from insect entry. The management MUST simply invest into competely new EU approved cooling systems, and complete enclosures for the foods they serve.
