The property is right on the beach, you hear the waves clashing - beautiful sea views

The location of the property is in an old dodgy neighbourhood, one side of the house has no fencing, overlooking an old non maintained stand, so literally you can walk from the street into the property- we never felt safe at all especially with kids, when we reported this to the owners we were told there is an alarm in the house that reports directly to an armed response team- so we triggered the alarm on purpose but no response came- none of the bedroom doors had locks or a safe for expensive belongings ! no hot water on one side of the house, kitchen-and two other bedrooms upstairs- the fridge had no water or ice -only one tv in the cinema room, no other tv in common meeting areas downstairs- one tv that didn’t work in the main bedroom -WIFI and Internet are not always working -

The location is very nice and the house is also very impressive if it was maintain properly, the area looked safe.

The host was not professional and a lot of the house equipment was not working or was not well maintain, for example: Pool Jacuzzi does not heat up, DSTV was not working on arrival, all bathroom tubs were not usable because they had leaks, etc. There was a big issue with cleanness. I had to insist that the host makes it available a vacuum cleaner at the property for proper sanitation, and I had myself to direct the cleaner on how to clean the areas up-to-standard as she was not properly trained.

The location was good however no direct beach access, Helper was very well trained Owner did her best to assist with our problems

My family and I had booked a 2 night stay at this premises. Upon our arrival at 3pm on Friday afternoon we were welcomed to a house without electricity- we waited this out as both us and the owner of the house assumed that it was a stage of load shedding. However this was not the case as the houses next door had electricity. By 6pm we called the owner and by 9pm we had decided to pack up and leave as we were not prepared to spend a night in an unfamiliar place without electricity. As we drove of we noticed a lot more lights coming on in the area so we turned back and saw that the lights did indeed come back. So we had the morbid task of offloading our luggage and food etc once again. Only to be welcomed by some existing inhabitants- cockroaches which we did not see in the dark prior to this. Even though we slept in this house we did not get to enjoy the pool or hot tub (which started sparking when the helper attempted to switch on )which was what we were looking forward to. The house was very pretty on this pictures however, it needs a lot of attention- many things are broken such as toilet roll holders, shower shelves, cupboards in kitchen, very slow water pressure upstairs, wiring loose , air conditioning not working downstairs, couches and carpet in tv lounge were musty. The electrical db box had tape on it. House not secure as maintenance guys came in with no warning and entered the house. For the price that guests are paying surely all this matters can be attended to. Very disappointed in what should have been a relaxing and memorable weekend for my family and I
