The location is great, right in the centre of the town. The staff were very friendly. The pub has a great food choices.

The electrics in the room could be improved- I had to put the kettle on the floor to use it, and there was an extension lead leading to the two bedside lamps, one of which wasn't working. I couldn't find a wifi network when I searched.

Very nice room. Small but very practical. Everything very clean. Helpful, friendly staff. Good beer and the fish & chips were exceptionally good. The beer tasted very good and the atmosphere in the pub was very good. Sure that evening Wales won against England in rugby. Thanks for the great experience.

Comfy beds, friendly staff and a perfect location

They definitely need double glazing - the window wouldn’t close properly and we were kept up all night with the noise of rain hitting the glass roof underneath our window and the sound of traffic. If someone flushes the toilet in another room it makes a heck of a noise because of the old plumbing and the walls are paper thin. Bathroom could definitely do with modernisation. Noone there for check out in the morning and no breakfast included. Definitely wasn’t worth the £160 we paid for the room as we didn’t sleep a wink

Location and pub side was very nice, food in pub very good

Rooms were awful, smelt very strong of damp/ mould. Very tired and felt dirty, carpet filthy. Checked out after 1 night so complete waste of money.

Too many dogs in the pub. I don't like drinking and eating in a kennel.
