Nice hotel with spacious rooms with lots of light !

The room wasn’t what I booked from the picture ! I got box with no daylight, couldn’t get more claustrophobic . The room had windows that face into a wall! The room was as dusty as it can get !obviously nobody cleaned there before the guest comes in.
I booked it almost one month ahead , and got what I got !

Love the decor...bed size..location. As a solo female traveller I felt very safe in this area...its literally where the river walk ends and near the back alley of goin. Bus stop is right in front..7/11 and restaurants next door. Quite area but walkable to main streets ..literally 15-20mins walk to main shijo/ kawaramachi area high street . Staff were wonderful and very helpful ...no problem ordering taxi for me and friendly . Exactly what it is in the picture guys!!!!
Cupboard is small and large will definitely struggle a bit in the room ..just use the bed to open and store closed in a corner .

Easy access from the station
They assigned the worst room in a building with a fake window. The photo looks so nice and bright. My room was like a room in a basement. Asked the staff to change but they didn’t. If they assign a room without a window, it should be cheaper. They shouldn’t charge a same price with some other. Very bad business.

Good location. Walking distance to Nishiki market, Gion, and Pontocho. Easy access to public transport (bus at the front door and subway about 5 mins walk). The rooms are small but functional. This reflects the price paid.
We found the pillows a little small and uncomfortable.

There are no amenities such as coffee or tea and i’m missing a mirror at the desk to do my make up in the room.

Alojamiento céntrico y amplio. Cama cómoda, muy limpio al llegar.
Estuvimos 4 noches y en ninguno de los días entraron a limpiar ni hacer las camas. Dejamos las toallas para que nos las cambiaran en una cesta fuera y solo nos las cambiaron una vez en los 4 días. Las tasas las tienes que pagar en efectivo sí o sí.

由於颱風因素，無法預期抵達，不過線上回覆的員工還是很熱心的協助處理。房間整齊，一開始清潔劑的味道比較重，不過一個晚上後就改善很多。對於價格與地區是相當合理的。喜歡住在四条附近的，相當推薦！

We had the queen-room-with-view. View was truly spectacular.
The room lighting was great as well; all hidden dimmable lights.
Perfect matresses, as so often in Japan.
Instant coffee, yikes.
Yamazaki across the street provides better options.

The size of the room was spacious as the bed was hidden in a corner. Incredible corner view from all sides of the room (Queen w roof to floor windows). Leaving more room for suitcase to lay on the ground opened. The table and fridge were handy.
The bathroom was a decent size for solo travellers.
The shower didn't have consistent pressure. Kept resurging pressure. (It would run to low pressure before building up again)
There wasn't a freezer. Which would be handy.
There wasn't an iron for clothes in the room. Unless I couldn't find it.

good location. very close to gion, bus stop right outside, 7/11 two doors down, chicken place next door.
no front desk after 11 that being said it’s still easy enough to check in on your own. my room also had a view of a wall but I don’t mind. I’m only ever in there to sleep anyway. might be an issue for some people.

Very central to everything you'd want to see and do. 20-30 minute walk to the station, but it's easy. Staff were there if you needed them.
I would have preferred my luggage to be stored in a room rather than kept in the lobby.

Very helpful staff. Easy to reach location with a bus stop in front of the hotel. Corner room has a great view. Spacious enough to keep a big suitcase and carry on suitcase open.
Room is poorly insulated and gets very cold. You need to put the shades down in the evening to keep the room warmer. The AC takes about 10min to start heating the room.
