The hotel is isolated and not close to any village. You need to drive to get to the near villages and due to many tourism in that place it is tough (traffic jam and no parking) The walk to the beach is for good walkers and only high water (not for kids) The wifi sucks. The restaurant is very expensive

The property has beautiful views.

The property is too far from anything for the hotel to not have a reliable way for guests to leave the property. When inquiring about a taxi they offered to call an unlicensed taxi or suggested we call one when we do not speak Italian. It is really unacceptable for them to not have a plan for guests other than relying on frequently full buses. On top of that the property is in need of a refresh, the restaurant was lacking at both breakfast and dinner, and many of the facility’s amenities were unavailable. Overall we were not very impressed with the hotel.

The hotel arranged for a taxi from the airport to the hotel and back, Check in by Peter was very good and personal, the view from the room was superb, dinner in the evening was nicely presented attentive staff and very tasty. The hotel even brought a surprise birthday cake for my wife on her birthday which was a real surprise.

Despite a mini bar and good quality products in the bar there were no glasses only paper cups ( which contained plastic) wrapped in plastic bag, very poor when as a world trying to stop unnecessary plastic use - went to restaurant and asked for glasses which they happily gave me. The bathroom was a little tired with the door splitting away at the bottom, breakfast for a non medicated diabetic is challenging as there was a large sweet cake section and limited bread, ham and cheese. It is in a remote location and very difficult to walk to anywhere but there is a bus stop right outside.

the fact that you couldn’t walk anywhere. would have liked more information about local restaurants and bars and been offered transfer facilities. also nothing to do in the evening after dinner - no music.

the view in the sea view apartments is out of this world, walking into the space leaves you gob smacked and it arguably better than going to Positano itself. at night we had dinner at the restaurant which was lovely and fireworks were going off. easy to get a bus to Positano as it leaves from out the front of the hotel. can buy tickets at the front desk. Julia was very helpful at the front desk, allowed us to leave our car for the day after we had checked out

the staff do not seem to communicate with each other and tell you different things. the two men who are occasionally at the front desk are extremely rude and will try to over charge you. Everything is a challenge with these people.

Room was big size, and mine even has a little balcony/Patio, you have unobstructed view which was breathtaking.

If there is a microwave in the room, it would be golden. hehe.

Wow, the room was spacious and the views to the ocean were magnificent. The staff knew all the details on what, where and when for the Amalfi Coast. The breakfast was exception with a ocean view terrace to enjoy it with.

Believe this property is best when accompanied with a rental car. We were fortunate that we met an awesome couple who had one.

Only the view was good but everything else was average and below.

Where do I start, first I would highly not recommend the food specially the CALAJANARA restaurant. The food was very bad and bland no special flavors and the menu is very limited. I tried almost most of the menu and frankly speaking nothing was impressive but I had to eat there for 3 consecutive days since I had no other options. On the last day I tried the lamb and potatoes and after long wait it arrived overcooked, burnt in some parts and extremely chewy. Moreover, I ordered the pasta with sea oursin and frankly it smelled not fresh, and I would highly recommend to avoid the seafood mixed grill as also the octopus and calamar were extremely chewy and though to eat. On the last night, they forgot to clean the room and luckily i did the check out the night before since no one was at the reception the next day at 6 am and I left by myself and left the room key at the desk. One more point to mention about the parking is that you need to keep the keys at the front desk as they will need to keep on moving the car due to limited space. As a conclusion, if you are looking only for the view then this the hotel for you but I would highly recommend to look for alternative.

The view from our hotel room was breathtaking. we had the sea view and could hear the soothing sound of the waves. The property is beautiful and our room was super clean. The staff - Luisa, Carmen and Silvestre was very welcoming and super friendly. The restaurant staff was amazing. The attached store is so nice with all the colorful souvenirs from Amalfi.
