Dinner was only ok, but perhaps that’s because we ordered late.

We had a huge room with a four poster bed plus robes, slippers and a coffee machine. The breakfast was simple but good quality

Well it's all good for us, watch the size of the hire car your taking lol, had a few moments in a medium sized hatch back finding public car parks but adds to the fun, can drop bags off and can park elsewhere, staff have all info of course

breakfast does not have “light” options like yoghurt or fruit. the room is rather outdated.

The personell are all very kind. Delicious local breakfast. The free parking place is not far away from the hotel, like 5 minutes by walking. Very clean and quiet.

There is some bad smell coming from the bathroom sewer. But we keep the bathroom closed the whole time, so that it doesn't bother us quite much. But all in all the whole hotel is nice and clean.

Location was great. The room was pretty small, but enough for one night. The receptionist was really nice and very helpful.

The location in a narrow street in the historic centre might have been splendid for exploring but was not so great for parking. However there were car parks not far away - though we did not find the "free" one until we'd already parked in the payable one! Efficient reception and an attractive entrance area led into a wholly acceptable room looking over the very narrow street. There were numerous (and better) options for dinner than the hotel restaurant but, though breakfast, was the slowest served that we had ever encountered, it eventually proved to be generous and fresh. There were many accommodation possibilities in the immediate area of the hotel but we had no reason to regret our choice of this one.

Very old fashioned with lots of dark wood. The steps to the first floor were difficult luckily there was a lift. Noisy first floor room owing to cobbled street and relatively busy for a narrow road

Uniquely old fashioned junior suite with wrought iron bedstead. Very comfortable with large sofa and huge wardrobe space. Very memorable. The view from the two small windows was, in its way, charming, overlooking the small patios and homes of three adjoining private neighbours. We have stayed twice and enjoyed it. Its idiosyncrasies are its charm.

Parking for the hotel is nonexistent and relies on using a municipal park several blocks away. The hotel is on a narrow one way street so even dropping off luggage or picking it up is a challenge. So staying at this lovely old hotel comes at a price.

Clean and inviting, our room was spacious with lovely touches such as bathrobe, slippers, toothbrush and body lotion. Located in the heart of the old city, this hotel is excellent value for money

Beautiful hotel with lovely interior. We stayed in a superior twin room which was excellent, very clean. The only criticism that I would make. There should be signs before leaving the hotel entrance informing people of the cars. As, you leave the hotel there is no pavement and cars at times speed past (I am very surprised that no-one has been seriously injured). I would urge that young children be supervised leaving the hotel. Lady on reception was lovely.

A great location for exploring the old town and surrounding area. The hotel fully met our expectations and we enjoyed our stay. The staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel door opened directly onto the roadway which could be busy. parking the car in a public parking area and getting our cases to the hotel was a little challenging.

Beautiful historic hotel in the old quarter with most tourist attractions only 10 minutes walk away. The staff are really friendly and there is a great choice for breakfast. Our junior suite was large, very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay there again.

Could do with bigger cups for coffee in the room and cartons of milk.

The room was great. The building was beautiful. The staff was friendly and helpful. It was close to the event I was attending (Poetry Festival).
