Perfect location. Historical building, clean, a lots of mirrors, little cozy balcony, very comfortable bed.

The room was comfortable for 3 friends travelling together, and bonus points for having plenty of shelves to put things on. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast had a good selection and was definitely plentiful enough to get our day off to a good start. The location was perfect for walking through the resort town, but also far enough away from it to still be peaceful.

Nothing to do with the hotel itself, but we were surprised driving into Jurmala that the town charges a small fee for driving in/through with a car in the high season, and that you have to pay it online and to pay it you have to know the VIN of the vehicle you are driving. We saw the signs as we were driving in to the town, and without further information, thought we had to pull over and pay it immediately (not the case, we had until midnight to pay it, but we did not know). It seemed like much ado for a €2 fee. A head's up about this during the room booking process would have been useful and appreciated.

I liked that the place was silent and cozy, comfortable rooms. The restaurants were nicely in the walking distance, the lovely seaside only a couple hundred metres away. There was a big parking space next to the hotel, convenient to arrive by car.

I chose specifically this hotel as the headline clearly stated a "spa-hotel". However, beware that the spa access is only available for an additional fee! Somehow I missed the previous reviews already from 2020 state that the staff does not say that fact clearly in the description of their services. I was utterly disappointed to arrive at the hotel, for my birthday weekend (!!!), only to discover the spa that I had been looking forward to costs extra 55eur per person/per each hour!!! Devastated. Hotel itself was nice. Probably because of the deception will not visit again.

Outside temperature was -1 -4 C temperature. Rooms were not ready with the heating; it seems that they started to preheat a few hours before our arrival. Stay in the room was not comfortable. SPA - it is something unbelievable. We agreed time of our SPA procedures, to have possibility to enjoy 2 saunas and jacuzzi. So, Turkish or wet sauna was not the "fresh" one, it seemed that you could smell the sweat of all the previous visitors. Moreover, water temperature in jacuzzi was around +25C - 5 minutes max.you could spend the time there. In summer time this hotel I suppose is perfect, but not in winter and SPA - do not recommend.

Rude staff, outdated room, out of date food. In general we had extremely bad experience. Paid 800 euros and stayed 8 hours. We booked another hotel next morning.

Very inconvenient experience. First of all, the pictures don't reflect reality - the hotel is outdated and needs updating. Secondly, the check-in experience was very inconvenient as well as arrogant, basically the manager-lady left us waiting on top of which we were told that a small dog will cost an extra 15€ (we had with us a 5kg Pomeranian), but as we arrived they charged us 25€ and said that a small dog should fit in the palm of your hand, otherwise it's considered big. :D Completely devastating experience, location seems nice, but will never visit it again - a 2* hotel experience and over-priced for this level of price-quality ratio.

The building is old and there is no elevator. Breakfast in the restaurant is very tasteless. A strange and incomprehensible requirement to order breakfast in the evening, and the choice of dishes is very meager, and even what was ordered in the morning was not there. It is completely inconvenient and incomprehensible that breakfast is prepared at a certain time. We were assigned 10 o'clock in the morning and did not agree to the request to schedule breakfast earlier. This is with an almost empty hotel! Breakfast was scheduled for 10, and received about 15 minutes late, dry and cold. It was quite cold in the room, but the air conditioning did not work for heating and the heating system was turned off

The location is very good, the beach is across the street. The rooms are big and spacious. Dog friendly.

The room was a bit dirty and the furniture was really old. But it is not the problem. The biggest problem was that we forgot 2 of our clothing items in the room. The same day we emailed the staff and they told us that there was not found anything in the room. But the problem is that I exactly knew in which clothing rack it even was on. It is very unprofessional and rude to steal things from your customers. Because the cleaners must have found my things. I described exactly what I left and was and asked them to mail me my things, but they told me they never found them, which is really not possible. Very disappointed because we have always got back the things we forgot in the hotels. Just a bit sad and rude experience.

Very good place near the beach, pleasant employees in room service, nice room. One of the very few hotels in Jurmala that accepts guests with dogs (not only small breeds).

The hotel should really provide a better coffee machine during the breakfast
