The location of the hotel is great. Getting around the city was very convenient. The are two bus stops nearby. The metro station and the river ferry were a 7-10 minute walk away. There's a 7-Eleven nearby, an Orange Superrich around the corner and a pharmacy in the same building.
The restaurant food was excellent. The buffet had a ton of variety. The food was clearly marked with different ingredients such as sea food, chicken, vegetarian, halal etc. The restaurant staff were incredibly friendly and hospitable. They truly made us feel welcome at every meal.
We requested a room on a higher floor and the staff were kind enough to accommodate us. The room was a decent size for a family of three and we had a nice view of the King Power Mahanakhon tower from our room. The room was clean and well equipped. There's a safe in the room and health faucet in the toilet. Complimentary bottled water was provided daily.
Overall, fantastic location, great food, and incredibly friendly staff made our stay very comfortable and memorable. Highly recommended.

Location is great, a short 10min walk to the BTS. Loads to do in the local area.
Very reasonable price of rooms. Air-conditioning was fab!

The tower is stayed in (circular windows) has a slight smell of mould in the corridors and rooms.

Holiday Inn Silom is like home. They always take wonderful care of us. We even got upgraded which was a pleasant experience.

Breakfast and all the staff were wonderful, everyone was so polite and friendly. Facilities and pool were clean and up to standard. The operations manager of food and beverages was extremely helpful and did a great job in difficult circumstances.
The hotel needs to have clear guidelines on appropriate attire for the restaurant, a number of guests felt it was ok to wear bed clothes and pyjamas at breakfast which was not only dirty but disrespectful to the staff and also other guests.

Checkin was really quick despite rush hour and breakfast spread was impressive. The team was really helpful and we particularly liked the fact that this was close to all major shopping areas and quite safe to roam around in Silom area late nights. This was a small glitch but definitely something that we won't hold against. Early checkin was another aspect that we liked and we got the same room when we extended our stay without any hassle.
You need to inform the front desk much in advance for a pick up from airport and get a confirmation.

The staff are always terrific. Big shoutout to Patcharin on the desk in the restaurant. Your beautiful energy in the mornings warmed up our day!
The menu at the pool bar could do with some inspiration, it is rather lacklustre.

Discounted breakfast was very good. I would not pay the full normal price.
Some of the food is bland and poor value for the price charged.
The long term entertainment (Pedrito) was a real attraction in Harry’s Bar. Now that the duo has gone it is just another bar! During my normal 5 day stay 4 or 5 times per year I would have spent every and all night drinking in the bar when this entertainment was there. I now go out of the hotel at night.

L emplacement du métro et le bateaux sur le fleuve à oriental pier à 10Mintes à pieds .
Le bruit lors de notre première nuit au 7 ème étage côté rue .
Ensuite nous étions au 15 ème étage , là c était côté piscine mais il y avait le bruit de la soufflerie de l hôtel. Les chambres ne sont pas très insonorisées .
Mais c était déjà mieux que le bruits des voitures et motos

The buffet breakfast is always good. The staff service is excellent and food choice is very good.
I have stayed in The Holiday Inn, Silom for 7 years, 4/5 times a year for 3 to 5 nights each visit, on average. My wife and I have always enjoyed evenings in Hary’s bar because of the excellent staff service and particularly the very professional standard of the musical entertainment provided by Pedrito and his wife. We were very disappointed to see that Pedrito is no longer with the hotel. I don’t like to be critical of people trying their best on stage but your replacement musical duo are very poor replacements. As a result, on our last visit to the hotel we spent very little time in the bar. Silence or an alternative of Pedrito’s quality would have been a lot better.

Nice hotel- very big and has the amenities of a big Holiday Inn. Breakfast daily was fantastic. Staff were helpful. Lots of guests but our needs were met.
Hotel is not the newest but rooms were well-maintained & cleaned.
The hotel is in a good area but can get heavy traffic at certain hours. But walking distance to a lot of good restaurants and even our morning Thai cooking class.
