Location was excellent to travel around from but not much in Redruth town. Bed very comfy. Staff very friendly.

Some areas a bit dated. Sofa in room looked very old. Swimming pool area was also a bit dated and could use some painting

The greeting and service was excellent. Restaurant and food first class

The hotel is a handsome period property situated in pleasant grounds, with good facilities and plenty of parking. The staff are friendly and professional.

The carpets on the stairs and landings could do with replacing. Maybe the dinner menu could include some less expensive options.

Service, location, room upgrade

Surrounding rooms not very soundproof and other guests repeatedly waking me up. Room service dinner a little ropey. In room fridge is a bit loud.

the breakfast was fine but very disappointment with the dinner. had chicken burger the outside was burnt and the chicken was not cooked. when i told the waiter i felt ignored no other options was given to me

i wasn't pleased when i booked the hotel the information stated in the spa there was a sauna but there is no sauna

The hotel was clean and the food was very good

The property needs lots of renovation the paint work, floors and walls are very shabby. Also some of the staff were very rude and unhelpful I asked if they could do anything about the very soft mattress, no one bothered to get back to me with an answer, which is very poor customer care but as it was a short stay I just managed with the discomfort.

Food was amazing. The spa had tables between the sun beds which was great, as you could put drinks/phones/ papers down. And the spa had a bar, which was also amazing! Great facilities and service!

Property was nicely decorated and furnished and continually maintained to a high standard.. Gardens we’re also kept tidy and maintenance being actioned whenever necessary.

The fact that I couldn’t get a simple sandwich for dinner. I didn’t want an evening meal or starter as I had already had a big meal earlier in the day. Told I would have to wait til 10.30 pm for the midnight munchie menu. I ended up falling asleep before this and waking up at 4 am very hungry. Decor was tired. View of a brick wall

Wonderful staff, beautifully decorated and fantastic bedrooms! Such a romantic hotel. We absolutely loved the Venetian style deco, entwined with Cornish English countryside and beautiful artwork on every wall. The breakfast was suburb, especially the homemade jams (kiwi my fav). Evening meal was stunning! Such an exciting menu, and presentation was perfect.

The spa needs a refurb, however we loved how we could relax with a beverage by the pool. Such a relaxed atmosphere and every detail covered.

Breakfast was lovely. The bar looked beautiful and all the rooms where so nice including the on suite

The young barman on Sunday evening made my wife a wonderful cocktail and was very knowledgeable about his craft

Easy parking Nice spa and swimming pool A proper old fashioned Luxury hotel Staff were very attentive at all time Breakfast was very good . Evening meal was excellent.

I stayed with my daughter and grandson for a birthday we enjoyed every minute of our stay very relaxing and enjoyed the facilities. We would stay again has my grandson loved the pool and it was nice that he could spend time in the jacuzzi with a adult.

I have no complaints about the hotel everyone was helpful and the service was great enjoyed our meals we had while staying there

The food in the restaurant and for breakfast was superb. The staff were wonderful, so friendly and accommodating, and made our stay so special. The spa facilities were fabulous. The location was very accessible and easy to get to. Our room and the whole hotel was beautiful. Would highly recommend.

There was an event on the first night of our stay and the music was quite loud until midnight.

Attractive property, good location, nice staff. My room was spacious and comfortable as was bathroom… great bed! Good food and service in restaurant. Great value.

Long view from my bedroom great, but large attached flat roof of single story extension to main building was very ugly!
