Every staff is nice

I booked the accommodation more than six months ago for the stargazy pie, but I ended up not being able to eat it. I was in Mousehole all day. I left my bags at 10:30 and asked what time the pub opened, and she told me it's 11pm. When I went back after 11pm, the pub was closed, and when I asked the same person again, she said we are bihind the schedule. I came for the stargazy pie, and when I asked if I could order it during the day or at night, I was told that I could donate instead of ordering and they would give me a slice of pie. They also said that check-in is after 3pm, so I should come around then. She looked very busy facing her computer, so I didn't ask any more about the time and decided to come back at 3pm. When I checked in at 3pm, the pub was very crowded. When I asked about the stargazy pie again when I was shown to my room, and she told me it's available all night. She asked Do you want to make a reservation for dinner, so I asked For stargazy pie? and she said yes. I went there at around 5:30pm and asked about the pie to waitress, and was told that the stargazy pie is already sold out. I was really shocked. The restaurant staff said that they served it at 12pm and 4pm and it was sold out immediately. I wondered why she didn't tell me that they would give it out in an hour when I asked about the stargazy pie at 11am and 3pm. The individual, regular pie without the fish looking up at the stars was available at the restaurant. I understood then that she meant this individual pie that was available all night. She probably thought that it was okay as long as it was a fish pie in any form and also would be more profitable for the restaurant if I ordered it. Later, she sincerely apologized for the misunderstanding and comforted me by saying that the pie I had at the restaurant was exactly the same. She didn't mean any harm and she's not a bad person. I understand.

Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Room was lovely- very clean and airy with a great view. I really loved the little night light in the bathroom.

Excellent beer tribute on tap which hubby adores! We had a table by the window looking out to the harbour lovely view Meal was excellent too Staff were friendly polite and professional especially Lisa Bed was very comfortable Good tea and coffee facilities in room Lovely big shower and fluffy towels in bathroom and very clean

The only downside was we could hear our neighbours talking loudly into the small hours of the morning!
