Very cute and cosy feel, very generous with amenities! We liked that the room came with a heater as well as 2 fans, so everything was covered. Breakfast was lovely and for amazing value for money…we will definitely be back

I telephoned before booking to ask if they had an EV charger on site. I was told they had, however this was not correct. The EV charger was an outside 3 pin plug point which was no good. I sourced an EV charger at the Huntsman Brockenhurst but unfortunately, although both cables were available there was no where near enough to park to access and use the charger - there were no designated EV spaces next to it. I then found an EV charger in a carpark but had difficulty getting it to work and then it was extremely slow. The following day found a quick charger at the Lyndhurst village centre carpark which worked fine. Found this quite stressful and worrying having been told there was an EV charger at the hotel. Wouldn't have booked if I'd known.

Gute Lage, sehr freundliches Personal, außergewöhnlich hundefreundlich (der Hund hat beim Frühstück seine eigene Sausage bekommen), gute Parkplatzsituation. Es war ein warmer Tag und im Zimmer (ganz oben unterm Dach) wurden vor unserer Anreise extra schon Ventilatoren aufgestellt und liefen bereits als wir kamen, so waren die Temperaturen erträglich.
Sehr enge Duschkabine, für große Menschen (ü1,80m) etwas sehr eng. Der Aufgang zum Zimmer war sehr steil mit sehr schmalen Stufen. Wir hatten einen kleinen Hund dabei, für den war das okay, aber größere Hunde hätten sicherlich Schwierigkeiten

The bedroom although it was small, it was clean and the bed was very comfortable. Full English breakfast was excellent and plenty of choice of fruit juice and cereal.

The breakfast room was nice and the breakfast was nice. The usual things to help yourself to. Car parking good. Nice Hotel generally.
We did ask for a twin bed room and we got a twin room. The bed for me was uncomfortable, very soft mattress, but clean. Our room was facing the main road which was very busy so very noisy. Had to have the windows open as it was so very hot. I am sure the car park facing room would have been quieter, it was just one of those things. But didnt sleep much. could have done with dark curtains to help block out the very early morning night.

Two sets of steps in the room, don't recommend going to the toilet in the dark 😂
If you're planning to use taxi or uber, plan ahea, taxi's are very expensive in the area = 28pound for 3.5mile journey.. Hard to get uber

Was a lovely little hotel, the family enjoyed our stay. Was clean and lovely room. Staff were really accommodating.

On arrival I found that we had been allocated a room which faced the main road. Having read reviews I expected there to be a lot of traffic noise in this room so I spoke to the manager on duty and he agreed to change the room for one which overlooked the car park at the back of the property.
The room was really clean and had a large bathroom. Wifi reception was very good and the room fan was appreciated.
Breakfast service was very good and the amount of food available was more than sufficient.
We had a two-night stay and the room was not 'freshened' after the first night.

The hotel was in a great location, only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Lyndhurst and had free parking. The staff were very friendly, helpful and made a fuss of our dog. The rooms were comfortable and had all we needed for our stay. A full English breakfast was included, which was very good.
Perhaps a little more light in our bathroom.
