Clean room and good breakfast

Our room was extremely freezing all through the night and we couldn’t increase the temperature. We were shaking with cold till morning .

Breakfast was excellent and location was good.

Stayed two nights and no offer to come round to clean the room on the morning after the first night. It would have been nice if they offered as the dustbin was full up.

My stay this time was excellent. My only complain is that there was no freshly sliced fruits at the breakfast bar.

The rom was a bit cold.

1. We booked a King Room on 03 July 2024 (3 months prior to our visit). Yet on arrival at the hotel were told that the King Room was not available and that we'd be upgraded to a room with two double beds at no extra charge. I was not happy, but having travelled long distances and with my wife in particular being tired, decided to accept the "upgrade" to something we did not want and had not booked! We ended up an interleading room next to noisy neighbors. This surely would not have been the case in the King Room (see Booking confirmation number: 4998.740.447 from Booking.com and email from Hilton reservations dated 04 September 2024 confirming that our booking was on the system). Despite efforts by a Hilton Hotel employee on night duty (who was met with a very aggressive response), the noise continued well into the hours of the next morning. Our disappointment at not being given the King Room which we booked and paid for only got worse. The following morning I requested that we be moved, which was kindly arranged and the new room served our purpose. We effectively lost a day of our short 3 day visit to see family who have relocated from South Africa to the UK. 2. At no point did we have any contact with hotel management. 3. The shower over the bath is awkward to use, is dangerous as it becomes slippery, and certainly not what one would expect from a 4 star Hilton Hotel. 4. Far too few drawers and shelves and in truth far from 4 star standard. 5. Besides the efficient and friendly lady who arranged our move to another room, the staff generally were bordering on being unfriendly. SADLY I WILL NOT BE USING HILTON CRAWDON AGAIN. WE HAD COME TO LONDON FROM THE NETHERLANDS WHERE HAD STAYED IN PROPER 4 STAR ACCOMMODATION AT A LOWER DAILY RATE, INCLUDING BREAKFAST, AND POSITIVE STAFF. MY OPINION OF THE HILTON CROYDON IS THAT THE MINIMUM IS BEING DONE TO ENSURE GUEST HAPPINESS, THAT GUESTS ARE TROUBLESOME AND SHOULD BE GRATEFUL TO BE STAYING AT THE HOTEL.

The rooms is neat but need more improvement also need to provide smaller cooling systems to stick up our stuff.

The reception area should provide welcome Snacks as before and not selling them. Need more improvement in the breakfast as before. Things have really change. Not bad but need more room for improvement. Thanks

The staff were lovely from the staff on the front desk , the ladies cleaning the rooms next morning AND to the gentleman at breakfast checking me in and explaining what breakfast there was. Great comfy beds and lots of room in the hotel room.

Nothing comes to mind just a 1 night stay for my trip to the capital.
