The room was modern and clean, the bed was very comfortable .

The staff was very welcoming and helpful. We liked our room which was comfortable and clean. The location was terrific.

Love this place soo much ,,beautiful location overlooking the river and castle across is amazing,, I wish I was back again tomorrow,, staff are really helpful,,its such a tourist friendly hotel,

We unfortunately had someone on the floor above that walked about the room like an elephant at early hours of morning.

The staff were so helpful, friendly and polite. Made us very welcome and paid special attention to us as my wife had a broken leg, so they moved us to a more accessible room. Just top class service.
More modern room decor - but to be honest I’m struggling for anything to put here. It was all very good.

Perfect location for our short stay in Kilkenny. The room was a good size, bathroom was spotless and the breakfast was excellent. Staff were helpful - we needed a room to change in before the check-in time as we had travelled for a wedding and they made sure we were looked after.

Staff were excellent , I believe the hotel is undergoing renovations which it will really benefit from.
Bed in disabled room was very small 245 in comparison to 203 where my sister stayed.
Carpets were very stained.

The location was perfect. View from the room balcony facing castle and the river was fantastic. Parking was available but with struggle. The town was beautiful. Friendly staff at reception and restaurant.
The hotel was old and the room was showing that. I found the price per night way too expensive for what I've got. Probably they charge a lot for the view.

Entering the car park we drive a 7 seater and it was very tight to turn in off the road coming from the left
To leave the hotel to exit to walk around the gate out by the river was locked so we had to walk out by car park barrier

it’s an old hotel and needs a bit of updating. The rooms were clean. The corridor outside our room had a v bad musty smell.

Great location - we could walk everywhere! staff were so helpful and friendly. Good vegan options at breakfast including vegan sausages and hash browns.
pillows weren’t the most comfy. overall the bedrooms didn’t feel 4 star
