Yea the staff were very good and my daughter wanted pancakes for breakfast the following morning and they went out of there way to look after her and that was most appreciated
There was nothing to dislike and it is really a great hotel and everyone there was great and very welcoming. I will most definitely come back there.

There was ample parking on site and a supervalu In the same campus which is very handy if you need to pick something up. The receptionist was fantastic-so welcoming and made check in really straightforward. The room was really spacious and comfortable. Loads of sockets, a nespresso, ironing and pressing facilities, lovely bath and shower.. I had such a comfortable stay and will definitely stay again.
On arrival at breakfast there was no one at the check in desk and another diner alerted me that "you have to go and find them". I had to go looking in a room off a room which was a bit odd and when I found a staff member I got asked if I wanted tea/coffee or toast. The toast arrived minutes later and was literally warm bread. It was still completely white and floppy. I actually had a giggle with my husband who was on the phone that someone would produce It like that. It can't have been in a toaster more than seconds. I asked for a menu when none materialised as there was no sign of hot breakfast and I had paid for one but the waiter explained due to small numbers staying there was no hot buffet on but they could cook to order. I totally appreciate that but I feel you shouldn't have to inquire about the absent buffet...it should be explained straight away when they check you in so you know you can order. I got the impression (just by the overall vibe and the fact he never stayed in the room long) that it wasn't explained when i arrived in the hope that no one would order and he could stay in the back room/bar area chatting with his colleague. The other diner looked equally amused. Perhaps he had been assigned to manage the breakfast room and help his colleague in another room at the same time. I do think even when its quiet you need someone checking people into breakfast and explaining anything that is missing and the alternative system on arrival when they've paid. It just gives a more professional impression and mirrors the otherwise glorious impression of the hotel. I had an absolutely brilliant experience of the hotel and would 100% return to stay when I'm working up there again but I wouldn't opt for the fawlty towers breakfast as the service was weird. He was a verynice young lad though and if you weren't in a hurry it probably wouldn't matter so much.

The hotel is lovely. Staff very friendly and the food was really tasty even though the waiting time was a little long it was still worth it. Location is great with shops close by and green area for walks. Pool was amazing and is also heated. Would come again and highly recommend it.
The room itself was a little small for 3 adults but was fine for 1 night. The hairdryer couldnt be used as the electric wire has been worn down so was dangerous. Needs replacing.

The staff were excellent.
The room was warm and comfortable, the shower worked well.
The restaurant wasn’t open.
The bar was noisy and not conducive to relaxing.
We sat in the restaurant, chipped table, no ambiance, food could have been better. The fish was good, the mash potatoes tasted like reheats - food was overpriced for what we got.
The steam room in the leisure centre was out of order, no sauna, and the jacuzzi was dirty.

It was peaceful, but road very busy in front of our room throughout the night. But lovely hotel.
Shower was good but not great.

location- v convenient to Maynooth/ Leixlip. nice leisure centre- our son made use of this facility.
I know it’s hard to find staff in general now in business- would like staff in restaurant to be better trained/ organised to improve service/ attention to customer- we’re all pleasant & friendly- just inexperienced.
4.5 / 5.0
staff were great, leisure manager went universal and beyond and we had a great chat about hotels, gyms and university. breakfast was good and reception were interested, asked for feedback and listened to same.
it was interesting to hear that there is an upgrade planned and I look forward to revisiting
The room was a small bit worn, but very functional, getting out of hotel car park onto main road is difficult due to traffic (a roundabout would be great), not a hotel problem but it would be a welcome addition

Food was good
Rooms does not have any face cream , shampoo or paste.
Mens changing room in the pool area does not have proper lockers, all the locks are broken
2.5 / 5.0
Bedroom was like an oven, hard yo open and close small window-( was very stiff and handles were very loose). Cigarette burns on bedside locker. It was so disappointing, my special needs adult son and I couldn't sleep a wink with the heat and noise of vent outside window.
I've been vary time over the years, and this occasion was worse by far-( i'd never stay again on level two, corridor 201 upwards). The actual hrat was mentioned to me by two other guests, one whom got her family moved to lower level.
We never got to pool either and almost missed breakfast as we dosed off at 8.40 am on chairs under window. What was ment to be a relaxing overnight stay with a nice swim, turned out to be more exhausting than when we arrived. So disappointed this time.
Better ventilation in room, fixtures on window need repairing and some oil, cigarette burns bedside locker, slowness of bar staff when bar was almost empty, had to go in search for somebody.
