The view from the room was excellent. We also liked the breakfast. The staff was very helpful providing us with information on things to do. They also help with dinner reservations. Everyone spoke excellent English.

This is no fault of the Hotel but we had two very rainy days our of the five we were in Bled. Still we managed to do almost everything we wanted to. We were not able to get a reservation at the hotel's renowned restaurant as it was fully booked. Perhaps the description in Bookings.com could suggest making the reservation at the time the hotel reservation is made.

A great location with a wonderful view, enjoyed our balcony and all staff were very polite and accommodating. Spa and lake side deck were amazing.

Overall we had a pleasant stay in this hotel. The breakfast is really good, with several options to choose from also for kids and a great variety of fruits (the fruit jars were especially appreciated by our daughter). The location is just perfect and it was the main reason we chose this hotel. Parking is limited in the area, but we could find a spot right next to the hotel quite easily and it was a great relief. They also offered a space to keep our bicycles inside. The staff is very nice and helpful.

Cleaning at times needed more attention (we found piles of dust under our night stands a couple of times and spiders in room corners). Also our room looked like it could use a renovation (wallpaper cut out in some places, floors creaking at times). We had a surprise with the inside pool water temperature. It could be worth mentioning in the description that it's only 22 degrees (we hoped we could stay at the pool in the rainy days with our kid, but even if she entered the water and swimed for about 10 minutes, it's too cold for kids).

Truly creative and excellent breakfast. Healthy, varied and thoughtfully put together. Only praise, no downside! Fabulous location, in the heart of the beautiful Old Town. The most attentive service ever. A little jewel. If you love culture, sophistication and quiet comfort, it's the place to be. Low-key, stylish, beautifully chilled and fabulous refurbishment of an important old building. Great altogether. Staff are the best.

There's nothing we didn't like

The hotel is old and charming with lovely staff that were super friendly and helpful. The view from our room was magical and the jetty over the lake for sunbathing was really special. Oh and the breakfast was very generous with many gourmet options.

With beautiful old hotels , there is always the compromise on modern amenities , but I think that’s to be expected.

The location was amazing. The included beach and boat access was fantastic! The breakfast was extensive and delicious. Staff was fabulous. The spa saunas and therapy pool were great. We also enjoyed eating the famous Bled Cream Cake by the lake!

Bit dated - and no gym on site. Pool is cold at natural spring temperatures around 21 degrees

The breakfast was lovely and the staff super friendly, although at times they didn’t send what was on the menu so had to ask.

The hotel is tired and old fashioned. The indoor pool is freezing. Despite it being super warm, there were no bikes available & no tables set outside.

the view was absolutely stunning and location was perfect. we pretty much spent a whole day on the balcony staring out at the view which didn’t even feel like a wasted day. Other facilities were great too like the saunas, spa, private beach, included breakfast etc staff were great and super friendly.

Should have an option to start the clothes dryer in the bathroom upon request even in the Summer, as people can dry their used clothes on it

The hotel is a little faded in places but it’s lovely location, cleanliness, fantastic staff and food make up for it. I really enjoyed it. Beautiful views over the lake.

I stayed over Christmas and had the most wonderful time. The junior suite with a balcony had beautiful views over the lake. All the staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast had endless choices of food with homemade pastries. The evening meals were delicious and the waiting staff happy to help with menu and wine choices. The spa treatments were fabulous and the lake views added to the experience. The hotel decor is warm and comfortable and I'll definitely be staying there again!
