The location, beautiful and spacious common areas, large room and very large comfortable bed and pillows. Also the very appropriate music playing gently in the background, something I usually dislike! There was a lovely welcoming atmosphere about the hotel.

lack of hooks in the bathroom was the only minor niggle.

Ignorant Brits who always expect to be spoken to in English rather than trying to converse, even basically, in French. Even a little schoolboy French is appreciated.

This hotel is such a little gem. Dog friendly. We loved our stay. Our room was pristinely clean and very comfortable. Shower was excellent. We loved the warm and comfortable ambiance of the lobby/bar area and the grandeur of the breakfast room. Selection of food at breakfast buffet was excellent. All very fresh and of good quality. Parking available in front of the hotel, well lit and designated bays. Easy walking to shops and restaurants. A little park nearby was really good for dogs. But the best thing of all was how friendly, relaxed and helpful staff were. It made the whole experience so much more comfortable and memorable.

Great location for an overnight stop in Calais. Close to bars and restaurants. Comfy beds, nice staff and good shower.

Breakfast was okay but food could have been hotter.

We just had a transit stay to catch the ferry next morning.

Only most expensive rooms have a lift or walkin shower

Very large room with large ensuite, tea and coffee facilities. Near to restaurants and shops. The breakfast was very good.

The receptionist when we arrived was supercilious, the morning staff were very pleasant. The car parking was very difficult and only available for a handful of cars. The hotel listed as having a restaurant but this only served breakfast.
