The staff was very friendly, the view from the South side balconies beautiful

The staff were brilliant, very friendly and accommodating. You can walk out of the hotel and within 5 min you’re in the centre of town where all the restaurants, shops and bars.

I stayed in this hotel few times previously and all was fine except wi-fi, which is extremely poor. Hotel is very well located, it is very comfortable and staff is very friendly and professional. I will return to Hotel Filser.

Wi-fi connection for hotel guests is horrible ! I had to do some work and could not establish stable connection. Instead I had to connect to internet, using my mobile phone. Wi-fi connection, which is important to me, was really poor since my first stay in Hotel Filser. I do not understand why it is difficult to fix it.

The Allgäu region is lovely at anytime of the year. The Filser Hotel is pretty much in the center of Oberstdorf with connection to all amenities.

I could not honnest say there was anything negetive about my stay in the Filser Hotel.

The hotel is a beautiful property with great views. Ute makes a great first impression for the hotel. One suggestion: on your website, offer more info about getting to the hotel from the Bahnhof.

The reception was especially helpful with several of my inquiries and requests.

This is a very good hotel in the beautiful village of Oberstdorf. I was given a very nice, spacious and clean single room with a balcony with view of the mountains (and a sunbed!). Excellent and very clean bathroom, wifi worked well. The hotel has a nice indoor pool and sauna (sauna was closed when I was there, so I didn't see it). Next to the pool there is a small outside terrace with sunbeds. The swimming pool was clearly very well maintained. I was given a free ticket to park my car in one of the hotel parking spaces. The breakfast was nothing less than excellent. I always judge the quality of the breakfast on the basis of the presence of fresh fruit (rather than cooked stuff or cakes) and this was there, fresh and in large quantities. The breakfast room was a bit full but I could sit outside and this was very pleasant at that time of the year. Personnel is efficient and very friendly, at departure I was given a small freshly baked bread from a local bakery as a goodbye gift, much appreciated!

This hotel is really very good, the only thing I liked less was its location, which was neither in nature or in the middle of the village. It is located in a residential area somewhat outside of the village centre with many other buildings around it. But this is only a personal observation and a detail that won't bother many others!

Excellent and quietly located hotel , excellent breakfast, I did not use the swimming pool, so I cannot write about it.

The bed was a bit hard.

The hotel was great. Not too close to the train station, but that also meant more quiet that it'd have been otherwise. The staff was very friendly. The single room was spacious. Each room seems to have a balcony which was large and had big chairs. The breakfast was great. The gym was compact and tiny, but very well-equipped.

The bed in the single room might be too small for someone tall. Even though the rooms are non-smoking, the balconies are not and I found myself having to close the windows on the last night as my neighbour smoked until very late.

It was the perfect alps experience and very relaxing.

All was great.

Awesome breakfast! Super friendly staff and loved the pool and sauna.

Our tv was broken and the wifi was quite slow, so no way of relaxing in the evening with a movie.

The hotel is close to the town center. A single room is extremely comfortable, with enough space and light. Furniture is new and has very good quality. Hotel staff is friendly. Check-in was possible an hour before official time. Sauna area is open until 22.00 what was also an advantage for me.

room run down, scratched and old furniture, bathroom long overdue for renovation with cracked tiles. windows old with pealed paint, coffee really bad, vegetable choice is scarce almost inexistent at breakfast.

Neat hotel just outside Oberstdorf center but close enough. Nice room, clean sanitary facilities.
