The room is unexpectedly big and the bathroom is exceptional

I thought I had booked a 3 star hotel room. The room was obviously in the Zimmer above the restaurant. We had to walk out of the reception to the back of the building into the car park find the entrance to the staircase to access our room. The curtains didn’t cover the windows properly and the morning light was blinding. Noise from the other rooms was obvious. Breakfast was limited and staff not helpful. I would never stay here again.

Excellent location for a trip to Potsdam, positioned in a lovely area. My room was up several flights of stairs, it was spacious, very clean & with a nice en-suite. Morning breakfast was good too. The staff were very helpful. Would definitely recommend the hotel.

Location, clean rooms, very good breakfast. Staff was very friendly, especially the receptionist.

We didn' t know that we should have had the parking slot reserved in advance so we needed to look for a parking space in the center upon our arrival.

The situation was fantastic. Very easy to wander to all the sites and shops and the Christmas Market. Lunchtime food in the attached steak house was delicious and good value.

At breakfast you had to get everything yourself. There was no real contact with the staff in the morning. Most places have someone at least getting you a hot drink.

Great location, staff is very nice and helps with everything you need. The room I had was very quiet. There is no elevator, but ground floor rooms are available. Overall, it is a nice place to stay for a couple of nights. Can recommend.

The bathroom is new, but some individual components are old, such as the shower head. This was very small and did not really provide a stream of water, as it was completely filled up with chalk. It might be worth replacing it. It was very obvious it was chosen to save water usage, but the pressure in the pipes is too high for such a small shower head. The floor of the shower was also in need of a deep clean. Also, staying as one person in the room, they only give you one pillow, one blanket and take away the second set of towels after one night. I understand they don't want free boarders, but a second pillow would be nice to have. The bed is very hard. The coffee is undrinkable. You can pay for a cappuccino etc, but if you like black coffee it's a nightmare.

Very friendly staff. Ideal locations with great facilities. Great breakfast.

The staff, the location, the breakfast

The room smelled really bad, there weren't any blinds to darken the room. It therefore got really hot in the room. I really felt uncomfortable in the room and I don't think you should rent out the room. I told the staff about it and got a reduction of 10 Euro. But it was still 85 Euros which I think is to much for such a room.

The location is very central, so that's a definite plus.

For the prices, absolutely sub-standard. The rooms are advertised as these old town house rooms with nice furnishings, but the majority of the rooms are actually in a modern annex and look absolutely bog standard. The cleanliness was lacking, it was very noisy and the breakfast was absolutely awful.
