perfectly situated next to the hospital where my partner was receiving emergency surgery treatment following a fall. staff were so supportive and found me a room more suitable to my needs rather than to make as much money as possible. very well situated for touring the area at reasonable prices.

The room had 8 beds, we were 4 and we received 2 keys for the room. I asked reception if I can get an extra key as we were not going to the same event, the reply was not very helpful, the was no extra key and " I am the only guest of the hotel who ever asked for an extra key " I find it odd that only 2 keys are allocated for a room of 8 people. No other option was offered.

Lovely location with beautiful views...loved the balcony off our room. Convenient location...ideal for catching the train to Zermatt. Basic room but clean and met our requirements well. Superb staff...very friendly and helpful. Loved it here.

Water in the room would have been appreciated though there were facilities to buy refreshment from a communal lounge area.

It was very quiet and good value for money for a short stay. The rooms were clean and comfortable

No aircon which is common but we also had no fans or anything which makes it difficult when the summer is so hot (39 degrees when we stayed). Also because the balcony is shared it didn’t feel very safe to leave the balcony door open at night to cool down the room.

Unfortunately, we did not manage to call the property within working hours to inform them we were arriving late, thus we could not sleep here since there was no one at reception. We slept somewhere else, however host was so friendly that they let us to take a shower in the morning since we still showed up for this reason. Also, we paid only the room since we did not arrive in time for breakfast either.

Good parking area and a short walk into the town centre and shops. Good selection of fair priced refreshments Staff were very helpful and also spoke multiple languages

Sound travelled and echoed in the corridors, No TV, Kettle or air conditioning in the rooms. Room décor was old and a bit out dated but still clean & comfortable for the price

Basic equipment in room which is in good shape, clean and comfortable. The little balcony is nice to enjoy the Mountain View. Nice and helpful staff. Cafeteria for snacks and drinks available.

The staff was extremely kind and helpful during a pretty stressful portion of our vacation. We stayed here unexpectedly when my husband had a ski accident requiring surgery at the nearby Visp Hospital. The staff was willing to print paperwork for me and was flexible with how much I kept extending our reservation. The rooms aren't anything fancy, but they are clean and comfortable. The patio was really great when you needed some fresh air.

The beds weren't the most comfortable but they also weren't the worst I've slept in.
