I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share my recent experience during my stay at the Novotel Geneva Center, a place I’ve frequented and cherished since 2008. However, this time, I must express my disappointment with several aspects of my stay: 1. The room I was allocated felt notably dull and lacked the usual ambiance I have come to expect and enjoy. 2. One issue that particularly affected my comfort was the inability to open the windows for fresh air circulation, resulting in a somewhat stagnant atmosphere in the room. 3. Additionally, the air conditioning system seemed to be malfunctioning, offering only heating options during the winter season. The lack of cooling made the room’s temperature uncomfortable. 4. Despite requesting a room change, I regret that I did not receive any response or assistance from your team. 5. Furthermore, I noticed an increase in the breakfast rate, which seemed disproportionate considering that the quality and quantity of offerings remained unchanged. I have been a loyal patron of Novotel Geneva Center for many years, and it pains me to relay these concerns as they deviate from the wonderful experiences I’ve had in the past. I trust that your team values customer feedback and aims to uphold the high standards that have characterized this establishment. I kindly request that you address these issues to ensure that future stays at Novotel Geneva Center maintain the excellence that I have always associated with your brand. Lovely clean bright hotel with friendly staff in a great location. Good choice for breakfast. A great place to stay.

Situation centrale et calme à la fois

The location is brilliant as a base to explore the city and the area around it. Staff are really helpful and hotel is clean bright and easy to navigate.

We were on the second floor above the garage and at times it was very noisy with people talking outside, shouting and motor bikes coming and going during the night. The windows did nothing to keep the noise out and we were convinced that they were open at one point but checking them showed that they were closed! People live in the area so you can’t stop the noise but investing in some good windows that reduce outside noise is a must!

Large spacious room, clean and tidy. Was in a good location with many restaurants around. Staff were good and looked after you as best they could.

Breakfast was too expensive, £32 per head is just too much. Ended up at the cafe down the road where I could get a good fed up with a decent coffee for around £15.

Location is good, just keep in mind if you are coming in a big Van you won’t be able to park in the Hôtel parking due to hight limitation, but you can park in public paid parking area which is around 5 minutes walk from the hotel

The location was very good, a lot of restaurants nearby and the hotel is around 5 minutes walk from the lake,

Would be better if they provide live egg cooking station for the breakfast, parking areas are not suitable for big families car if you are coming in a van you will have to park in other parking area (which is around 5 to 7 minutes walk away from the hotel)

High responsiveness and kindness of staff

Nothing, my reason as below : 1: room was so small, very old and not comfortable 2: when you request food delivery, they refuse to bring it to the room as this service not available 3: front desk staff need a lot of training on how to answer call in friendly way and how to be prof 4: I was little sure that one day they will force me to work instead of them loool

Nothing nothing nothing. Very bad experience and I never felt I’m enjoying a hotel service. It was like I booked a shared room via airbnb with old grandma hehe

One thing that I like about this hotel the staff was very nice and helpful and has a great hospitality and every one of them was nice. And my wife liked that they at least afford an iron.

The location was bad the hotel smells bad the room was bad and small the bathroom has a huge part on the side of the toilet which make you set weardly on it and has a huge window that make you feel uncomfortable at all with no privacy while taking a a bath and the door it sealf doesn't close properly and the sewage of the water tap and the bathtub broken which make the water overflowing. Finally the description of the hotel is midscale hotel but it is lower than economy hotel it's just like a big multiple floor motel.

It was a very short stay as we were passing through Geneva. The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful.

Didn't like the location particularly the area around the hotel.

Everything, absolutely everything was great. Very clean, friendly and welcoming.

There’s no luxury in a paper cup! Hard to hold a hot drink and surely not good for the environment 🤔.

It was clean and tidy, and an excellent location for walking to the centre. It was nice to have some nespresso pods and water. Air con was appreciated.

The toilet was basic (no sink or lock and noisy to open /close). Near to the hotel is a red light district which isn't great for families.
