Incredible location in old town. Easy walking distance to every attraction. The restaurant is a destination and wine list...just Incredible. A GREAT stay.

Nice breakfast and I love the styling of the room and red carpets. Easy to get to and there is a great gym across the road too. Staff are lovely, and the front door is secure so just press the button and wait for the door to be opened. Very clean and warm (came here in the winter time) I didn't get to try the restaurant attached, but it has excellent reviews so give it a try. Most sightseeing places were less than 30 mins walk or if you want to try the U-Bahn there is literally one less than 2 mins walk away . It is called Weißer Turm (English = White tower) station, which is accessible straight from the Nürnberg Hbf. It's only a 10 min walk from the Hbf anyway if you choose. Enjoy this great hotel at a great location.

This is a problem with most European (German) hotels but I wish they had the western style rectangular pillows supplied. I didn't check so this isn't really a negative note, most hotels have a "pillow pantry" to select a whole range of pillow styles and firmness etc. I'm sure this hotel had one, I didn't enquire to ask, I put up with it. The bed itself was excellent.

I can’t recommend this place enough! If you are a solo travel, looking for a hotel that is great value for money, with lovely staff, then you should definitely book here. It’s only around 100m from weißer turm nürnberg (Weisser Trum in English) train station, which is only 2 stops from the central station. However, the location of the hotel (and size of Nuremberg) means you can also easily walk to most tourist places, expect the Nuremberg Trail Memorial and Nazi Documentation Centre / Rally Grounds. To get to these two places, you can easily grab a train from the above station. The rooms are very nice, plenty of space with a great bathroom. For when I arrived, I also had 3 tourist maps and brochures to help me find my way around. The staff are very kind, give great recommendations, and their English is fantastic. The hotel breakfasts were also nice, not the best meal around but definitely perfect if you are on a budget.

Beds were a little bit stiffer than I am used to, but that is really a minor thing and didn’t take away from the experience.

Restaurant was very good. Within walking distance of the Allstadt, but less convenient than we had hoped to the Christmas markets.

Our room was frigid, especially the first night. Windows had been left open in freezing weather and the radiator heat was almost totally inadequate. The room in general was spacious but spartan; beds were fair.

small room. bathroom was clean but very unattractive. No elevator. we were on 4th floor and traveling for a week. that’s quite a bit of work carrying luggage up the stairs. daytime front desk person did not speak English. someone came into our room while we were sleeping and then left quickly. not sure who it was.

Rooms without air condition

Great location in the Old Town area and near public transit. The breakfast was fresh and tasty--eggs, coffee, meats, bread and fruit. And all the staff were friendly and helpful.

Location is very good. In the middle of Old Town filled with history. 10 minute walk to main train station. Breakfast very good many choices to enjoy.

No a/c on a Saturday night was not to comfortable. Street noise was loud and could not open window.
