Great position, very close to the bus station from where in 25 minutes you can reach Taormina or the airport. Lovely private beaches, and several daily excursions to enrich your staying - Etna was a great one I would recommend.

The service was not always at the level you would have expected.

The breakfast and staff there

The room was HOT ..I complained but there was nothing done. It was uncomfortable to sleep because the AC did NOT work at all. The room is dark and outdated.

charges any extra: parking.... I had a reservation for standard rooms (in these rooms you don't have free access to the beach chairs and umbrellas, only the superior rooms). they didn't want to upgrade the room for free, even though the hotel was about half full. of course no one on the beach checked which room you are staying in. hotel with old furniture, in fact almost everything is old. you can't really adjust the air conditioning. bad services: 24 hours to fix a safe, they don't have anyone to help you with your luggage. I gave up the last night's accommodation. a real fiasco to succeed in this. incompetent staff. the worst Marriott I've stayed in. I don't know why booking recommends it. 8.3 seems excessively high to me.

Very Spacious lobby clean and tidy! Beautiful breakfast with lots to choose from. Very clean pool with lots of lounging chairs and great private beach front access. Very friendly restaurant staff and bar tenders! Nico was our favorite!

The Rooms available were dated and need an upgrade! I do understand that this is going to take place and some have started on the 6th floor. I hope to return back to the hotel and stay in a upgraded room with new amenities.

Rooms are silent, breakfast is good. Air conditioning super. View to sea nice.

Price/value is completely not adequate. Hotel is old, needs a big renovation. No pasta or pizza for lunch. Bathroom needs update, no conditioning in bath. Parking 200 meters away outside - no garage. Beach without sand - only hard stones. Bidet was already green instead of white. Lightning in bar is as strong as in a football stadium. No coffee machine with capsules in room. No shaving and bathroom equipment. No slippers and robe in room. Minibar is empty.

Loved the beach and comfortable beds. Nice breakfast too.

A couple staff members were not accommodating when asking to break a large bill, outright refusing. Very different view on treating elite gold members, could care less. I expect more with status.

Breakfast was excellent, plenty of variety and good quality. Water provided in room daily which was great given the 3xtreme temperature. Hotel was right on beach, could not get any closer and bus stop 500 meters with regular service. Perfect location.

Facilities in gym were lacking a little.

There are a few places where the hotel seems a bit old and needs improvement (like the bathroom), but I'm sure the Marriott group will take care of them. The room service came always around 13 pm, when we tried to sleep because of the heat. One day we missed the room service because of that.

Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of options to choose from. We especially liked the Italian pastry selection and the fresh fruit. The lobby bar was a great place to hang out in the evenings, Daniele was most kind and helpful with everything we needed or asked for. Valentina went to great lengths to meet our special requests and to make sure we have an unforgettable experience.

We loved the hotel.It was very clean ,nice location,staff were very nice and helpful.we had a wonderful time there.

Amazing comfy bed! The private beach is quite nice and the people working in the beach bar were nice. The breakfast buffet was amazing and the people were warm and helpful (bring this too the table too). There’s a small gym that’s rare for hotels in this area.

The people working at the reception were antipathetic. For a roughly 300€/night there’s no free parking spaces (18€/day extra) that I find expensive. With 40•C you pay a 50cl water bottle at 4€ (at the beach bar, the water is more expensive than the pool bar 6€/1,5L but at the pool there are far too many kids). Also, at the reception, when arriving late evening, we asked for a room but there price was more expensive than on booking so we booked it here in front of them, when booking it the receptionist told us to be careful because depending the room we’d take there would be an extra 25€ fee for the beach towels. We were shocked, how can a 4* and 300€/night ask even more money ? But of course, arriving at beach the next day, nobody talked about that extra charge. Why…? And on the last day, checkout is at 12 but we got woken up at 9:10 by the cleaning lady, not cool. The bedrooms/bathrooms are old fashioned while the reception is super modern.

A large beach hotel with pool and spa. Each room has its own balcony. Although our room was a little dated in it's decor it was comfortable and a good size - we had a deluxe one overlooking the sea. The bed was very comfortable with lovely linen. The shower was over the bath and there was plenty of shampoo / conditioner available. Fridge and tea & coffee making facilities. The back of the hotel has windows with views over to Mount Etna. Breakfast was very good, ranging from freshly cooked omlets to fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals and croissants. The pool is very pleasant about 20 meters long with plenty of loungers around - worth going for a swim early when its quieter. There is easy access onto the beach with lots of loungers available there too. I booked in for a 50 minute massage, which was amazing - highly recommended. There isn't a huge amount to do around the area, apart from stroll to the restaurants nearby in the evening or take a taxi / bus to Taormina or I can certainly recommend the Mount Etna & winery tour. Very pleasant hotel, which is currently undergoing renervations on the top floor.

A week before we arrived, there had been a very bad storm which had washed away a lot of sand from the beach. So there were diggers pulling the beach back from the sea, to create a more pleasant beach. As a result it was mostly a stoney beach rather than sand, so would recommend water sandals to go in the water with.

The room was a good size, comfortable beds with large sized wardrobes and well appointed bathroom and a spacious balcony which overlooked immaculate gardens and the local beach. The breakfast was excellent and the service outstanding.

we had a terrible problem with overcharging when we checked in, 3 charges, over $1000 twice for room fee. The reception staff knew and knew my concerns for three days we were promised an answer only when we checked out finally someone assisted properly and was professional I felt disappointed and lied to it ruined our holiday at Giardini Naxos

The kindness of the staff and the beach.

That it wasn't yet really open, the pool bar was unmanned, and the tourists had to ask around for any kind of staff in order to order drinks.

Location is straight on the beach. Beautiful views. Excellent breakfast. Superb service. Alessandro at the reception has been extremely halpfull as he has a keeen eye for customer service. We also enjoyed the attentions of Giovanni at the breakfast. We look forward to be back soon.

Charming and very comfortable hotel. Very good breakfast, especially the pastries. Magnificent view on the sea. Large swimming pool very pleasant. The staff is very professional.

The bathroom in my room was not in good condition.
