Excellent hotel, clean, good food and great staff. - I would recommend to book Premium room like we did (higher level- newer rooms and amazing bed) then we decided to extend our trip for one day and we got standard room. That is on lower level, older rooms, carpet on floor and the bed was so bad, but it was clean. Great swimming pool. I will come back for premium room ;)

The bed in standard room was not good.

Hotel staff was friendly and accommodating. Pool area was great!

Booking.com claims that buffet breakfast is one set price for your stay, but when you get to the hotel, they tell you that you have to pay per day for breakfast.

I chose Melia Stiges, a 4 stars hotel paying more than 150€ a night, to assure a good night of sleep. I could not sleep until 1:00 because of a party that was taking place in the facility of Melia Sitges with live music and noise until 1:00. As I complained to the manager the next morning, she would apology but would not offer any compensation or commercial gesture despite the fact that I needed to stay one more night in the hotel. AS a regular traveller, I have to say : it is the first time I received such a bad attitude and total lack of understanding of a client's needs from a manager. Even 3 stars hotels, with not such an important problem, did better and I keep great memories.

Room was clean, facility close to the sea side and quite a number of restaurants

The check-in service was incredibly slow when we checked in and when went to use the reception area at any time it was again very slow

Breakfast was amazing with excellent variety. Room was spacious and comfortable and our particular view was fantastic. Balcony was a good size with shading during the afternoon and into the evening.

Melis Sitges, a renowned hotel known for its sophisticated ambiance and tranquil atmosphere, failed to deliver on its promises during my recent stay. Despite paying an additional fee for an upgrade to ensure a peaceful environment, I was subjected to relentless noise from neighboring rooms throughout the weekend. This review aims to shed light on the numerous shortcomings I encountered during my time at Melis Sitges, leaving me deeply dissatisfied and longing for a refund. Disrupted Tranquility Regrettably, my desire for a restful retreat was promptly shattered as I discovered that not one, but two rooms adjacent to mine were occupied by boisterous guests who saw fit to engage in raucous late-night revelries. Despite reaching out to the hotel staff for assistance, my pleas went unanswered as not a single call was picked up, leaving me feeling neglected and abandoned in my pursuit of much-needed rest. Loud sex noise, screaming, parties with people coming and going and loud music. Not a place for a family or for someone to rest. Inadequate Soundproofing To exacerbate the situation, it became evident that Melis Sitges suffers from a severe lack of insulation. The mere act of conversation in the neighboring room permeated my quarters with crystal clarity, making it nearly impossible to find solace and privacy within my own space. Even the faintest sound, such as a dropped nail or furniture being moved, reverberated as if it were transpiring right beside me, further highlighting the hotel's inability to provide a tranquil environment. Broken Promises Perhaps the most disheartening aspect of my experience was the unprofessional manner in which my grievances were handled. After sharing my feedback with the hotel's redemption points system, I was charged a substantial additional fee, despite initially being promised an upgrade and resolution by the manager. Regrettably, the promised call to discuss a potential refund never materialized

The staff is very helpful and the services are excellent. The breakfast is a class apart!
