Fin beliggenhed. Rummeligt værelse.
Hotellet og spisemulighederne bar præg af at være domineret af store grupper. Urimeligt høje priser i restaurant i forhold t kvaliteten.

The continental breakfast was great with a wide choice of food. There is ample parking and the location is not too far from the "city" and next to a Sundlaug. Edda Hotels are basic student residences which is no problem for us.
Room charges for this basic accommodation are the same as for the Kea or Icelandair Hotel and thus clearly too high.

The staff were very helpful to us. The front desk manager allowed us to use the phone to contact whale watch company about a cancellation due to bad weather. We loved our room, which was large, clean, quiet, had comfortable bedding, a good shower, and overlooked a wooded area near the botanical garden (highly recommended, by the way). The morning breakfast buffet was worth the cost, as there was a variety of hot and cold dishes and plenty of options for vegetarians like my husband and me.
I wish that the hotel had been less busy with tour groups, as breakfast was crowded. It seemed like being on a huge cruise ship. It's probably best to go down to breakfast right when it opens, to beat the crowds.

Location was ok, perfect for our one night stop. The staff was nice and welcoming. Also, shower had normal shelves which was great.
TV wasn’t working, but we didn’t need it that much so that was fine. There was no working lift (which meant carrying our bags on 3rd floor). The worst thing was the bathroom - toilet seat not clean or just worn out. It had some cracks that were a bit brown. I don’t if that’s just dirty or old. However, it should be replaced ASAP. Also, the shower wasn’t properly clean (glass, shelf where someone obviously held their razor).
If you need a hairdryer, you need to ask for it at the reception.

The room was very nice and comfortable and staff was very helpful and friendly.
The room was not properly cleaned before our arrival, large amounts of trash from previous guests had not been cleared. Breakfast was a little chaotic and disorganzied.

Probably the best hotel in Iceland! Everything was perfect. The place is perfect, like a location. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are clean and cozy. The living room is also very nice. The breakfast is very rich. Would definitely recommend and come back again.

Nice place, with at least own bathroom sink. The shared bathroom was very modern and clean.

No-nonsense rooms in a quiet facility.
There are no elevators in the older wings of the facility, making it hard for people with limited mobility to get around.

The room was very clean, very good breakfast. The location is perfect, the pool is nearby, downtown is just few minutes walk.
Nothing

Nothing really
For the price (€220/night) the attention to detail was really disappointing:
-The coffee mugs were stained - like if only rinsed with water not cleaned.
-Coffee/tea was not topped up - only single serving available while it was a double room.
-No shower mat was provided.
It smells like a 1980s smokey motel.
If you’re desperate and that’s the last room available then at least the linen is clean and you’ll have a comfortable sleep, but if you’re also after value for money then pass this one.

See through windows, expecially bad when you are on the first floor and everybody who is entering the hotel can see you. Enormous keychain, quite cumbersome to walk around with. Not enough toilets and showers for a big floor.

The room was clean and the boy in the lobby was helpful
You can hear everything from the hallway and it’s very strange that people is loud to play on the piano downstairs early in the morning, it’s like it’s in your room
