Quirky with comfy bed and everything we needed. Excellent location for nice restaurants and bars. Included continental breakfast was provided in the fridge to eat in the room.

Phil is a fantastic host! Helpful, funny, gave us loads of tips. Rooms are quirky, breakfast nice and sufficient. We had the French room - terrace is fantastic!

The place is kitsch-chic. If you’re more of a minimalist, this might not be your vibe.

Quirky themed room decorated perfectly to reflect the theme. Breakfast selection left in room for the morning was superb.

As we were staying on the top floor, the water in shower was very cold, but as there was a bath in room aswell, we just used that which was lovely and warm

The room had everything you needed and more. The breakfast items left in the fridge were all good quality and plentiful. Communication from the owners was excellent. We were visiting relatives locally so only really used as a place to sleep and couldn’t utilise some of the facilities.

Breakfast was great. Owner was wonderful and gave very good advice via booking.com and WhatsApp. Easy to use the bus to get to Rhosilli and other beautiful beach/nature walks Well thought-out space Clean Quiet after 10pm

The room was felt packed and it was a little difficult to maneuver around each other, but we knew that in advance--it was a popular time to book and the Mediteranean room was the only room left. We are nevertheless very glad we stayed at the Mirador

The room was very small ,dated and cluttered.Nowhere to sit and eat the breakfast provided expect on the bed.

La salle de bain est bien spacieuse mais la douche n’est pas très grande.

La déco est vraiment hilarante. Les si nombreux commentaires qui s’extasient sur la déco sont forcément tous au second degré. Le voisin d’en face doit être ravi d’avoir la vue sur ces grands panneaux rouges avec le nom de la maison. Avantage pour nous : nous ne pouvons pas la louper 😉😂😂 Tout est vraiment too mutch Le petit dej continental ( là aussi tellement vanté dans les commentaires) consiste en des croissants ou pains au chocolat sous blister ( ça doit être tellement bon😋😂😂😂). Dans le frigo, très bien garni ( ça au moins, c’est vrai), il y a des yaourts, de la charcuterie, des jus de fruit. C’est , évidemment, très sympa et pas obligatoire mais le prix de la chambre est le plus élevé que nous ayons eu depuis le début de notre voyage ( même à Oxford, c’était moins cher et le frigo était aussi bien garni.) Je ne comprends pas que cette ville propose de tels prix !!! Sûrement la proximité de la mer car ce n’est sûrement pas le charme de la ville !

Great hotel. Had everything we wanted and great location to nearby Uplands. We enjoyed the personal touches and the continental breakfast was lovely.

The room was very well decorated, had everything you needed. Perfect for a couple. Complimentary breakfast in the room was superb also.

Continental breakfast was more than adequate and inclusive of price. Hosts left breakfast along with a bottle of bubbly in fridge...very generous of them! Room was super clean and bed very comfy. Hosts were very friendly and kept us updated prior to our stay.

Room was very warm but this was due to being upstairs and extremely hot weather, but hosts left three fans in room which were much appreciated!

Breakfast was a nice touch! I enjoyed the boiled eggs especially and the fruit. The space was roomy and the ensuite and shower were great. TV set up with netflix and all the on demand tv was also a great addition. It was really hot during my stay and the room had a few room fans which was good.

The room was really warm even with the addition of fans. An alternative to the duvet (a sheet or something) would have been great. Also there were no net curtains on the window so had to keep the blinds drawn or have the street able to see in. Meant the room was quite dark and I needed the lights on all the time. Just a few minor things really. Other than that enjoyed my stay!

Everything was exceptional and such an original property. The decor was amazing and a wonderful surprise not your generic guest house.

They don't supply formal breakfast but fridge is well stocked and a microwave is available in the room. The shower was advertised as a power shower it was in fact electric but worked ok. You get 20% discount at local restaurant which is excellent for dinner and breakfast. Situated in nice part of Swansea .

What was absolutely unacceptable was text messages from the owner asking us to review the stay with a 100% review and saying don't do a review if with can't give him 100%. He stated that they had been " deliberately targeted with far from genuine reviews" and people were doing it to get their money back. He also said to book directly with them for a cheaper room rate. I think this throws in to doubt reviews of this property. I have their text messages on my phone to prove this is a genuine review . Their response to some negative reviewers in the past seem somewhat defensive. In respect of the accommodation we felt it was over priced but that's a personal view. Trying to eat breakfast sat on the bed is uncomfortable as there is no table etc. The room was advertised as having a power shower but is was not. However, it worked ok. The room needs some TLC. Trying to close the door to the bathroom was not easy for example. We wouldn't advise you not to book but we won't stay again as we felt it fell short in a few areas. We certainly didn't like the pressure to give them a 100% review and their belief that negative reviews are not genuine.

Unique and stylish decor transports you away from you day to day life. Location is great for visiting the bars of Uplands. We stayed to go to an event at Singleton Park and it all worked out perfectly. Great communication, advice and service from P&J. Would stay again!

We had an amazing stay at the Mirador, which managed to be both unique, stylish and gave us the best night's sleep in years.! This truly is a great find and close to some lovely bars and restaurants. We stayed in the Egyptian room which was stunning. We especially loved the walk in shower. The hosts were a joy to deal with and we are already planning come back next month. Thank you Phil and Jeanette.

Spotlessly clean. Phil kept us informed with local info of our stay, and also 20% discount off a local restaurant (Inc drinks). Nice shower. Couldn't fault any of it really. We even had a free room upgrade on the day of arrival, and complimentary snacks in the fridge, all you would need for a continental breakfast.

A couple of flights of stairs to our room on the top floor, but it was worth it so wouldn't really say it was "what didn't you like" ,just trying to be informative for people who may have trouble climbing stairs. We managed it ok

Rooms are fun and interesting but most importantly clean. Massive amount of food left in the fridge for breakfast each day.
