Staff were friendly
We were given a room for someone with a disability ( don't know why). The smell in the room was awful. turned out to be the drain from the wet room. Can't understand why you would put someone in it . I mention it to reception when I checked out ,and was offered a cup of coffee. The room was looking tiered holes in curtains and lampshades. At 3am-4am the noise coming from reception kept us awake. The fried eggs at breakfast weren't cooked.

Friendly efficient staff at this well run hotel. Spacious, comfortable room was very good. Good car park. Restaurant/ lounge food was excellent, including breakfast.
Air Con kept cutting out; on the second night , the fault was resolved.
Hotel/Booking.com made a mistake with the charging. I paid the accommodation cost through the booking.com website. On the day of leaving the night, staff charged me for accommodation again. Anyway, the hotel refunded the double payment within two days.

Very pet friendly. Room on ground floor close to entrance and facilities. Close to A1 so good for onward travel

Receptionist was fantastic, friendly and welcoming. Very helpful when we discocovered we had all forgotten to bring toothpaste! She remained friendly and helpful in the morning, after what must have been a very long shift.
Despite email co formation saying we had 3 people booked, ( 1 adult & 2 children) only one adult was on the system. The receptionist was wo default and adjusted everything without turning a hair.

Allison on reception was nice, room was very clean. Great shower. Good location for business travel, nice car park, lovely building.
Mattress was hard and could feel all the springs.
Barman was horrendously slow with no customer service. Took forever to even order when we stood at the bar, waiting 5 mins for him to finish 1 pint and 2 wines. Didnt even acknowledge us until he was finished with previous customer. Then our drinks took ages to make too.
Fire escape was left open while another guest went for a smoke so was freezing.

Very friendly staff, clean and a lovely breakfast. They offered help if we needed and advised who was on the desk and when. Breakfast was hot and plenty of it.
I don't remember anything in particular that we didn't like.
If anything the room got a little too warm overnight despite the window being open.

Due to them over booking a holiday, and I was transferred to Holiday Inn Express in South Doncaster.
Location is in an industrial area. The design of the hotel is extremely sterile. Door lock didn’t work three times.
