That it’s so close to centre

In need of TLC. First room was small did not look clean carpet heavily stained Windows old/all locks broken on three windows/mildew around frame Wall paper flaky Room in need of TLC Peint work really tired asked to be moved Improvement on first but still in need of TLC

Very well managed hotel. My room was very clean, comfortable and had everything I required. Breakfast was good being servedby pleasant staff. Located on the front and well located for attending the tennis at Devonshire Park.

Cant say there was anything I didnt like, apart from a car park which would have been handy but street parking was available.

Hotel is Very dated Breakfast was horrible and overpriced, everything on the plate looked old to the point we didn’t eat it.

The in-house swimming pool was a great extra and was part of the appeal for booking. It was close enough to be 10 minutes away from the peir part of the parade. Some friendly and helpful staff, some less so.

Some of the items in my room didn't work and the cleanliness off areas should have been better, such as dust all over the desk, limescale and cracks on the shower doors, dirty tea spoons on the very limited tea tray, stains on the very old carpet. The light and spoons were reticfied promptly once reported to the front desk. The breakfast was a bit hit and miss. Half my order was missing on the first day, the porridge was really milky, they were able to do gluten free toast which was helpful, very little water in the jug and the pastries were very dry.
