The shuttle left on time

The staff were the kindest people. I had had a horrible travel day, and they turned it all around! Picked me up at the airport, fed me delicious homemade food, and made me feel so welcomed. The room was small but cozy and had everything I needed for a good night’s sleep. It’s also super close to Gatwick Airport, so it was a stress free departure.

The Albanian - receptionist was very polite and helpful. Brought me to my room.

The hotel - states to book direct - but when I called the price offered was £15 more than online. Was asking for further discount but would expect to at least match. The lady on the phone said to book it on booking.com

I checked out too esrly for breakfast as I was catching a 6.10am flight to Spain.

Needs a coat of paint. But room was comfortable.

It was close to airport & had comfortable beds.

Easy and convenient location with shuttle bus transport to airport. Friendly staff. Would’ve been good to have brekky available before 7 but not an issue

The room was a bit too hot, fan helped. Also a bit dusty behind bed and bedside table.

The location is great, staff are friendly and helpful. Room was very cute comfortable and clean.

The only thing that bothered me was the frying smell coming from the nearby kitchen. I mentioned that to reception, they closed the door, turned on the hood in the kitchen as well as a fan in the hallway, which helped a little.

The fact there was an airport shuttle as well as a very pleasant staff and a comfortable room.

If anything I would have to say the chemical smell in the bathroom from the morning cleaning, but that is a small matter. The room and bathroom were new looking and good for a stay.

What the hotel did poorly more than outweighs what the hotel did well.

Room was terrible, impossible to sleep! Window has thin glass and the glass was not sound proof. You can hear every car passing by as the hotel was beside the road. Staff lied that they weren’t able to change room as the hotel was full. I end up having no sleep at all during my stay. Ensuring that guests are able to have a good night’s rest is a basic and essential requirement of a hotel and the hotel fails badly.

It was what it should be for the price, middle of the road but good value. I would stay again.

This was such a pleasant experience compared to my previous stays near Gatwick. The room was quiet and comfortable. Since i had little luggage I could walk there and back for my flight. Would definitely choose to stay herre if I need to be by the airport for a night.

The breakfast and staff in the breakfast room were excellent

The reception was bad with a guy who likes to tell off a woman.

Great location very near to Gatwick, really comfortable bed, outstandingly helpful staff, and a delicious cooked breakfast with quality ingredients the next morning. The 24-hour reception and shuttle were greatly appreciated as my incoming flight was six hours late and I arrived in the middle of the night. I parked for a week at the hotel while I was away and it was great value for money, and my car stayed on the property, not moved elsewhere, which was reassuring. So much nicer than staying in a big chain hotel, and I will definitely stay again when I am flying out of Gatwick next time.

It’s hard to think of anything, but if I had to be picky I’d say just that the showers could use a little bleach to remove a bit of mildew, but otherwise everything was spotlessly clean.

Ideal location for Gatwick and hotel runs a shuttle bus every 30 minutes 24/7 both to and from the airport and provide holiday parking. good value food in restaurant although I didn't get to try breakfast as I had to leave at 3am!

Unfortunately my room was opposite the kitchen so there was a fair bit of noise at times

The property was clean and the proximity to the airport is great. 24h shuttle service and reception are great to have if implemented properly. The receptionist in the morning was very friendly.

We waited 1h for the shuttle service at the airport eventhough we were waiting at the described location. The sink was clogged and had a crack. The shower was quite poor as well. The receptionist we had when arriving was rather uncomfortable too, making „jokes“ about our troubles with the shuttle. He advised us to be at the airport in the morning at least 2.5 hours before our flight, which resulted in a very short night and 2h waiting at the airport after security checks.

The Corner House is perfectly located for Gatwick Airport. There is a shuttle service with very easy to follow instructions. It was a great experience from the friendly shuttle pick up to warm welcome and check in. The hotel itself is lovely I had a great little room with all the facilities I could want. Breakfast was delicious and the restaurant menu looked very good. A lovely friendly hotel with great staff I'd highly recommend a stay here.

Very friendly staff, helpful with food and airport transfers. Room clean and practical for stay before leaving for airport. Very quick service to collect on way back after flight. Highly recommend.
