The staff were great really helpful and friendly, they were all nice with my kids and super informative when we needed to know anything. At breakfast time they were great to as my kids asked a million questions and staff weren't bothered and were happy to help.

Only thing we all agreed on was no WiFi even though staff gave us WiFi code it just didn't work.. so make sure you've plenty of data on your phone..

Location is excellent, with the beach, fairground and lovely park a minute away and plenty of restaurants 8-10 minutes walk away. Breakfast was lovely and the staff were excellent.

The hotel is very tired. Had to ask to change from first room, as bathroom was in poor repair and dirty. The next room was better but had only had a very small double bed. Its such a shame as it could be a really lovely hotel. Restaurant only serves breakfast, No main meals.

the rooms are getting ready for painting, our room was clean but there were scuffs all over the walls and the bathroom was ready for updating.

Location of property

No knowledge of the liquidation process at hotel. homeless people living there. No hot shower, no hot tap, broken bed/mattress and springs, mould, paint chip, exposed walls and three rooms later in three days. couldn’t check out until the fourth day - paying for extra night and didn’t stay there.

Location was good as it was close to the promenade, beach and restaurants

scruffy, tired hotel, nothing worked well, was insufficient hot water and had cold showers. The hotel needs a full refurb or to be demolished as it is not a great place to stay

Great location, boutique room with comfy bed, free standing bath and great view of the lake. Friendly reception and security staff.

Room had mould / damp patch in bedroom above the wardrobe. There was quite a few chips in furniture & paintwork needs a little tlc. Breakfast was well presented and was cooked to order however, cheap ingredients and the coffee was nasty ( basic instant ) however the breakfast was only £9 extra for 2 people against the room only rate so actually could not complain for the price, and like I say well presented and lady who served us was nice and cheerful.

we booked as on Booking.com it said it was a Best Western hotel.

We did not have hot water in our room and for shower. the hot water system was turned off(?????) during the night and We could not get shower before we go for breakfast and leaving the hotel.

The room very comfortable and clean. Right by the beach. Great dog friendly hotel and staff are very helpful and friendly.

Standard of the annex very low for the price. Bathroom very cold, fan extremely noisy. It takes a while to warm the place up No plugs next to the bed

Very friendly couldn't be more helpful, we travelled in wheelchair.

Had to go outside and travel outside across the car park to get to annex building for ground floor apartment as no lift with me been disabled not good in bad cold weather but hotel itself is beautiful and friendly and rooms are lovely wben warmed up.

Hotel slightly dated, the sports bar look well, but there was an over powering smell of stale beer from the floors.
