Decor, location and room.
We ordered a lunch meal. First choice, out of stock. Then order forgotten to give to kitchen then arrived late and not very hot.

Accommodation was great Food was lovely, the staff were friendly and helpful. The cottage was very modern and the beds were super comfy! The pool jacuzzi steam room and gym were excellent.
The bathroom in the cottage we stayed in was small for four people.
4.3
Stayed in the hideaway room very nice. Also health suite was nice and would like to return once refurbished.
Prefer a fresh cooked breakfast but i realize the buffet type works for most facilities these days.
4.3
Room was large with nice views over the countryside. Lovely comfortable beds. Excellent shower. Decor throughout the hotel was excellent. Lovely meal in the restaurant in the evening which again was very elegantly decorated.
Can't think of anything.
4.3
Overall theme/decoration and spaces. The restaurant food was great in both restaurants.
Rooms and some areas need some maintenance. The breakfast needed more attention to variety and ensuring that things don't run out.
4.3
Breakfast and food was lovely.
Leisure facilities could be updated and freshened up

Booked breakfast and dinner.
Lots of choice at breakfast.
Evening meal was excellent with friendly service.

Have stayed many times and never disappointed
We had a problem last time we stayed as we had prebooked a disabled room on the visit on the way to Scotland but on our return visit home it had been given to someone else.
The receptionist was very very helpful and showed us an alternative which was ok but not a big bathroom and gave us a bottle of wine too.

The wedding, rooms was amazing. George the manager was outstanding and could do enough for me and the wife.
We through the meal we had on the Friday was disappointing, it looked amazing but it didn't have any flavour.

Comfortable room, excellent breakfast.
Beautiful location.
Lovely decor in the hotel.
Friend taken I’ll and taken to hospital. When we got back in the early hours of the morning we could not get back in, rang and rang but no one on reception so had to ring another friend who was staying to let us in through an emergency exit. When we left in the ambulance we were assured that there would be someone to let us back in.

Modern hotel
Lots to go and see on site
Good, drinks lovely.
Pool great
Bedroom was slightly warm at night, although we turned heating right down, the bathroom radiator was still jumping
4.3
Good base for Beamish museum
It's a dark and dingy hotel that would benefit from a good refurbishment.
Alot of the staff are young, inexperienced and make regular mistakes, which the manager seems to brush under the carpet.

We loved our stay! The staff were very helpful and the cottage and hot tub were perfect for a girls night away. It was great value for money and we even got to use the spa the next day after check out! We couldnt ask for anymore.
Nothing!

the room was clean and the hotel itself was lovely as were the staff especially the lady incharge of the evening meal on the sunday night she was very attentive and sorted out an issue straight away with our food
rail in wardrobe was broken and had to get a guy in to fix it.
door stop in bathroom was in pieces on the floor my husband put it back together
the heating would not work so they had to get a guy to sort it out as room was really cold
The meal on the second night had a issue but the girl in charge sorted it out for us
The hot tub in the pool area the water was really cool when asked the young girl said she wasnt sure why but probably because the water had been changed and not up to temp but this was one of the reasons i booked the hotel and very disappointing not warm enough to use
4.3
Room was lovely. Dinner was very good and great service
4.3
The rooms were gorgeous and beds very comfortable, the food was excellent, the pool was nice and warm
You can't lock the bedroom doors from inside so this was a big issue for us as my 2 year old son could open the door so we had to block the door from inside
And also the changing facilities at the pool weren't very good just 1 room no individual ones again proved difficult having a toddler
