Poor service, less than ideal rooms (tattered curtains, smoking friendly)

Hotel location is great, walking distance to CP, the Delhi metro network station/s and a short drive to the New Delhi railway station. The room was clean and decently maintained.

My short stay was marked by poor service and a complete lack of consideration for guests’ needs. Unfortunately, this experience has led me to decide against staying at any Lalit properties in the future.

The Breakfast on the first day at the main resturant was very good.

For the Breakfast on the second day, we were asked to go to Baluchi resturant on the second floor despite there was enough sitting space in the main resturant. We were told that everything is same in both resturant. However the quality of food and service was pathetic. We had a great experience on the first day at the main resturant but second day was very dissapointing. Also, the checkout process took too much process and was not impressive at all.

אני מבקר הרבה במלון הזה כי הוא נוח לי מבחינת מיקום, חייב לציין שהדבר הכי מדהים כאן זה הצוות - שפשוט נותן שירות נהדר. המלון אומנם מהוותיקים שיש אבל הוא מתוחזק נהדר, הכל פשוט עובד טוב. תמשיכו ככה ואני אמשיך להיות לקוח מאושר.

מענה טלפוני - המענה טוב אבל שואל שאלות במקום להבין את הרצון - אולי כי אני רגיל להבין ישירות מה באמת צריך. בכל מקרה ממש לא בעיה - המלון פשוט נהדר

La ubicación del hotel es muy buena. El desayuno estaba bueno y con mucha variedad.

The breakfast menu was large and varied. The dinner menu was also quite large and we found the portions to be very generous. The bedrooms were spacious with good storage. The beds and pillows (in Delhi and at the Lalit in Chandigarh) were the most comfortable of my experience. Our room overlooked the front and the pool. The sound insulation in the room was excellent. The siting of the hotel can't be faulted; Bengali Market, Shankar Market and Connaught Place are less than 12 min walk away. WiFi was included in our deal and it was good.

Location is great and their rooftop restaurant is also amazing. The staff is also helpful.

The rooms have aged and could see that it needs to remove rusted metal/wooden pieces. There was no iron in the room.

Pros :: location is the only pro

Cons :: highly expensive, food is more expensive than taj Rooms are dated . Especially 23rd floor .

Restaurants serve good food, especially Baluchi. Interiors are clean and luxurious but little dated now. Close to India Gate, Pragati Maidan etc.

Except some employees most others are quite inefficient. Had to wait 30-45 minutes at the airport to be picked up even after ordering their pickup service. Check out lines are unbelievable it can take 15-25 minutes to make your check out! Shower water pressure is low.

Kinda old. The other lift is too shaky when coming up and down.. The receptionist doesn’t smile at all.. they are not welcoming.. The foot end pillow is so dirty with a lot of stain.. don’t know why they put it there?

Everything right from the time we arrived went so well at The Lalit. The rooms were nice with a view of the city.

The room facilities wouldnt work as expected. The flush would keep on going till someone comes to fix it. It happened twice.

Cleanliness and wide range of facilities (gym, restaurant, etc.). Good breakfast. A very good base for exploring Delhi.

Overpriced restaurant, slow and bad service, respectful yet unfriendly staff, drinking water is supplied but not refilled enough.

Staff was very polite and helpful.

1) there was nothing in the mini bar 2) it has been posted on YouTube by other people also that Lalit is charging GST and CST for the restaurant food. A goverment complaint number is also provided for the same. We wanted to see if we were charged GST and CST by the restaurant. Yes we were also charged the same. Will look into this futher. 3) I had to ask for the hotel stay bill. Or else I they did not give by default.

Bad services. Considering the amount of money they charge for a 5 start hotel, the services and amenities are way below average.

Fast check-in & check out experience. Every Employee was Polite and nice in interaction.

Room dine-in service was extremely slow. Cold coffee didn't taste like coffee. I am caffein person and i never had such bad cold coffee.

I had an exceptional stay at the hotel! The service was impeccable, from the friendly staff who greeted me at check-in to the attentive housekeeping throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. The dining options were diverse and delicious, catering to various tastes. The staff went above and beyond to ensure all my needs were met. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I'm looking forward to my next visit. I would like to personally thank Nitilca, Himanslu, Aman, Biya, Jshaan to making this service and stay at the hotel possible. Remarkable staff workers.

Breakfest was really good with great variety. The staff is nice and kept our luggage even for a few days after we checked-out.
