Breakfast was good. Good choice . Evening meal was poor. Asked for French dressing on salad. They had none. Nothing in the meal was fresh. All bought in.

The room was extremely hot with poor ventilation and very noisy as fronting onto a busy road.poor evening meal. The outside garden could be mad lovely but looked tatty and unkept.

We stayed in the studio downstairs. It was spacious, comfortable, well equipped and since it was below ground and had no windows, we slept really well as it was dark and wonderfully quiet! Helpful, friendly staff and a tasty cooked breakfast and continental style breakfast buffet.. lovely location by the river and easy walk to the local pub for lovely food and drink.

Could do with a new bed base.. although the mattress is very comfortable. Light switch to the kitchenette is annoyingly at the far end of the room, so you have to walk in the dark to turn it on rather than it being by the door. The kitchenette has a door that leads into a public hallway and is only secured by a chain. This would be better locked with a key - there is a kettle in the door, so I'm not sure why it wasn't properly locked. However, none of the things noted here in any way detracted from a wonderful visit to this lovely hotel.

Not much parking, was lucky to get the last space. Wish was in main hotel not the coach house to get a feel of what it is like, rooms in the coach house were nothing like the pictures had seen on the website I'd booked the room from. Coach house room was basic with no character and felt had overpaid as it was no different to staying in a Travelodge. TV in room was small and at an odd angle so not great to watch from bed and wasn't able to move it round flat. Breakfast was underwhelming. Had the salmon and eggs and there were lots of brown bits on the salmon that hadn't been cut off. All in all nice enough as staff were friendly and all basic things covered like room clean, but felt had no extra qualities and did not meet or exceed expectations from booking pictures and cost.

Location was great 5 minute walk to the town . Very clean full English breakfast was excellent and facilities clean and staff friendly and service given was over and above

To be honest we were pleased with everything and couldn’t find a fault . Well maybe one as my hubby couldn’t have a beer from the pump

Breakfast material and personal service excellent. Room spacious, clean comfortable.

Car park was full on arrival. Carrying bags from public car park was tricky. Receptionist was busy behind the bar. Duvet was a bit too heavy for summer temperatures.

Spacious Room with fan & iron, comfortable. Bit of noise from the floorboards in room above. Bathroom clean. Bed linen clean, could do with a bigger tv but adequate. Lovely gardens and friendly staff.

Breakfast was just OK, continental was good, cooked breakfast was cold, black pudding was low quality, pancakes were not cooked through. most coffee cups were not clean and needed wiping with a serviette.

Staff were very friendly, lovely location. The garden area was very nice.

I liked everything about the property.
