Really nice receptionists, very helpful and friendly! The hotel is very clean, quite and in a great location.

The room was small, but had a large bed and a compact toilet and shower. The location was terrific - the old town and many restaurants within a short walk. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Baggage storage meant that we could walk around town unimpeded even though we arrived well before our rooms were ready. Surprisingly quiet for such a central location.

No negatives about the hotel, but a taxi to the airport from the hotel cost nearly 40Euros, which seemed rather expensive.

Excellent location: few minutes walk from the train station and the old town, next to the opera. Very comfortable beds, all new and very clean, luggage storage. Perfect value for money. Check-in finishes at 7pm. It is clearly indicated on booking. The hotel also sends you a reminder straight after booking. Most importantly: A calm and quite hotel including proper windows and doors to the hotel rooms. As soon as you walk in, you notice that someone who knows the hotel business well and who pays attention to the guests' comfort is running the place. Highly recommended this hotel and will definitely come back.

Paper cups in the bathroom. Some reusable cups would be better and more environmentally friendly. Check-in should be extended until 8 pm. 7 pm is a bit too early when you are already on vacation and doing some sightseeing before coming to Tours.

Very nice and friendly small hotel, local owners, probably a family. No elevator and no check-in after 7 PM, but everything else was good. Very good location. Quiet room: although in the city centre there was no noise at night. Good air-conditioning.

Beautiful, cosy hotel. Rooms are comfortable, air conditioned and super quiet. Water is hot, bed is perfect. The staff are absolutely amazing! They tolerate my rusty French and there was the option of an English speaking member of staff as well. They make you feel welcome from the moment you enter. Location is unmatched. Close to rue nationale, rue Colbert (restaurants galore), parks, the cathedral and a short walk to the train station and old town. Would definitely stay again, and in fact, I extending my stay in Tours because of this little gem.

Nitpicking, but it would be great if there was a bar fridge. Also the plug in the sink got stuck easily. Absolutely minor issues.

Very pleasant comfortable room in perfect location. Excellent breakfast in pleasant room. Staff carried suitcase up 3 flights for me.

Had to come before 7 PM in order to have staff at reception desk.

The location, room decor, cleanliness and staff were all perfect.

The downside was a bed that was past its best, a room that was difficult to darken enough from street lights outside and a lot of noise from upstair rooms. Consequently, not a good night's sleep but that could vary from room to room, I suppose. I also ordered a taxi from the reception which was confirmed later but did not show up the next morning to take me to the airport- not the hotel's fault but be warned.

Location was fine but got a bit noisy at night (I sleep with the window open, but it is possible to close the window and use the AC). Room was small but comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was generous and homemade cakes were wonderful!

City streets tend to be a bit noisy on weekends.

This is a small and simple hotel just down the street from the hotel. The hotel was spotlessly clean though the stairs could do with painting. The room was not very big but more than adequate and spotlessly clean.

My only comment is that the stairwell needs a lick of paint.

I was very lucky to find a room in the heart of town at Easter. The manager was particularly kind, helpful and friendly. A good buffet breakfast with home made cake.

Good location. Quiet and comfortable. The breakfast was very good. Lots of variety and good quality. Yummy apricot cake! The girl at reception was very sweet and kind. A kindhearted smile which was nice to see in the morning. I want to have breakfast here again soon!
