No tea or coffee in rooms.

We spent a couple of days visiting the Christmas Market in the stunningly beautiful town of Celle and the St Georg was a perfect spot to do it from. A short walk from the hotel to the centre of town, the hotel is in a peaceful location. The room was large and comfortable and all went well.

It would have been nice to have a kettle in the room but otherwise everything was great

Quiet comfortable small hotel

Hotel basically closes down in the early evening. Door locked and no answer. Had to search google for the phone number after leaving my keycard in my room

The hotel is very well appointed. Lovely art. Very good breakfast.

It’s in a quiet neighborhood 5 minute walk to the old town.

Softer beds

excellent breakfast; access to quiet back garden. Hotel is situated in a very quiet corner but close to the Altstadt and centre of the city.

the Wifi service was weak and very unreliable - most of the time not even sufficient for cell phone connection or computer emails.

Overall the stay was lovely. The room had everything you need, even a direct access to the terrace, which was nice to use in the evening.

Breakfast was rather basic. We managed to get a free parking spot close to the hotel, but it might be quite tricky to get a spot if arriving late.

This is a lovely little family hotel we stayed at for the evening. It is centrally located and it is easy to get around Celle old town on foot. The staff were welcoming and helped with every question we had.

There are not lifts but that is to be expected in a traditional hotel. However we had a lot of luggage to move and the staff helped get it up but we had to get it all down!

The hotel was very nice, comfortable room and bed. Very positive experience.. We came from a Danish "Kro" to this small and friendly hotel. It was like night and day. Stay here , safe and comfortable.

Location is good.. close to the centre... lovely little balcony to have a drink on in the room.. breakfast was lovely.. nice mix of cold meats and various cheese and healthy foods... very nice... staff were very friendly .. secure parking for my motorbike..

Not a complaint.. just an observation... when I arrived in the room I went for a shower and the water wasn't hot, that was ok as I'd had a long day on the bike in the heat I wanted to cool down... next morning it was the same... I mentioned it to the staff and the owner/manager very quickly sorted it..the water heater in the bathroom was turned off... hey presto hot water... maybe it should be checked when the room is being prepared.... again not a complaint... it's also tricky to find, well it was for me and my satnav...even after meeting the owner who gave me directions from the top of the laneway, I missed it.. again not a complaint.... I'd recommend the hotel... :)

The location is wonderful - a quiet, leafy street a few minutes walk from the centre of Celle. Very well lit rooms - (most hotels are badly lit). Excellent breakfast with a beautiful view from the breakfast room. Parking for the car (our host parked and fetched the car for us) at very reasonable cost. Friendly personnel.

It was not a problem for us but (as should be expected in such a beautiful old building) there is no lift.

The location is good and the staffs were very kind. The room was clean and comfortable for me.

There is no free Wi-Fi.

The breakfast was outstanding, they made us eggs to order and it was some of the best eggs we’ve ever had anywhere
