Beautiful position, helpful staff, lovely breakfast, great spa

Well maintained, elegant hotel, with a classic feel. Great views, and ideally situated for walks across the bay at low tide. Local seafood brasserie does a great lunch. It was our second visit in 10 years and it was just as good.

Watch the restaurant bill. We were overcharged for our evening meal (2 courses charged for 3) and the kids' meals were an unexpected rip-off that we successfully challenged. Staff told us breakfast was included in the room fee but it was not. It looks like a consistent overcharging policy that a lot of people will not notice. A shame this spoiled our stay as it felt deliberate.

Staff were extremely professional and very helpful. The room very spacious, comfortable, spotless and great storage. Food very good, lovely breakfast buffet. Great pool and spa facilities. The view of the sea to die for.

This is a stunningly beautiful location. The view from the room was exceptional. Breakfast and dinner were superb. Hotel staff were very accommodating.

The ambience was superb. Staff were welcoming, rooms and general areas were all fresh and spotless. Great facilities, food excellent. The gardens and roses climbing up the wall were charming. Very quiet and respectful of customers privacy

room was on the small side Thé hair dryer was missing from the room & when my husband reported it a member of staff insisted he show us where it was ( or wasn’t, as was the case) I was disgruntled as I was in the bathroom in my dressing gown when he came in!!!

The hotel is very impressive standing in spacious grounds overlooking the sea. Marvellous location for walks and lovely views - watching the tide go out or coming in. Room medium size with two large windows overlooking garden and sea. Simply wonderful views. VERY pleased to have a free car park.

Found bathroom lacking - handrail needed on bath for elderly people or invalids. No rubber mat provided to put in bath. Unable to use basin, water would not run away until plug removed. Plug dirty. We did not consider the food in the restaurant to be up to the standard of a 4star hotel. No Amuse Bouche tasters - one night my Sea Bass overcooked (grilled) - another night my dessert forgotten due to waitresses laying up for breakfast. However, in general, the waiters, waitresses are helpful and lovely people as are the staff fronting reception.

Charming hotel with direct private access to the sea. Great resto and indoor pool with 2 saunas. Private parking on the spot free of charge. Super comfy beds.
